hi friends,
holiday season is coming, yeyeyepppeyy..!!
i know we love this time, this season..
aside of that special day, "JESUS birth", it's also a very long vacation,
and we all want it.. we want to rest and to spend a very long time with our families and friends..
this is also the time that we can receive many gifts from our parents, relatives and friends..
i hope i can choose gifts for them to give me, ..
i love to have a brand new cellphone and a digital camera, well it's only my wish..
i hope Santa Clause can hear my wishes, ..
i would be the very happiest person on earth..
how about you friends??
what do you want to have this coming season?
advance Merry Christmas and a happy 2010 to all of you guys..

Advanced Merry Christmas to you too Jane. Frankly speaking, I don't really wish for any material thing, whatever that will be given to me I would gladly appreciate and treasure it. But there's this one thing that I really wish for this coming season, healing for my heart ailment, good health for my kids and guidance for my husband. I would be the happiest person if I would be given the opportunity to have those. HUGZ always...

Hi janebeth!
I love gifts, but the most precious one that I only want is my baby boy wishing him to come out healthy and free of any birth problems. He is God's gift to us, and this is enough for me, this will be the most happiest christmas ever for me and my husband after long long years. Merry Christmas to all!

I am hoping to get like 10 lbs lighter. its hard to get rid of the extra baby fat after you have kids!

hello janebeth,
indeed christmas is the season of receiving gifts and all. but since, life is getting tougher, with or without gift is just fine with me. what matter most is that me and my family are together.
bu maybe a simple gift for the kids is just fine.

Oh yes, we have 3 months to go and it is Christmas again! This early, I've not thought of what gift tor receive because I think I've reached the point in my life that it is not what I would receive but rather what I would give that really matters to me. I have lots of friend and loved ones and it has been my habit to give out gifts to all of them. I love to give and that is making me happy. By giving I also do make others happy and even if I am not really expecting returns, I do receive gifts as well. I think the price of giving is receiving. Even if you don't expect anything in return, your good deed will always come back to you.

i also believe on that saying salonga.!! the more you give the more you receive, and it is a very nice feeling if you can make other people happy.. and even if you don't expect to have in return, still they are many blessings you can have because GOD is good and he want also to make the giver be happy..!!

hi salonga.
yes that's true, our good deed will always come back to us. i am happier to give than to receive, if i can have much money. i also don't expect a return, but if someone will give me, i love to receive something that money can't buy.
so how are you doing my friend?

To be completely honest, I don't care to have any material things, and I won't ask for anything either. If I get a gift, I do, if not, it doesn't bother me at all. For me, the joy of the holidays comes from giving gifts to others and seeing the smiles on their faces when they open them.

Seriously, I don't want gifts at all. I don't feel I need anything and the only thing I want is for others around me to be happy. I know it sounds crazy, but it is the honest truth. Other than wanting to see the joy on the faces around me when they open gifts that I have given them, I enjoy making other family's holidays better too. There have been many times when others have helped me give my kids a good holiday when I was unable to do it on my own. Now, I really do love making other people's holiday as special as some of mine have been made. My husband is always frustrated wuth me when an occassion arises and he asks ne what kind of gift I want. My answer is always the same, "I just want everyone to enjoy their day."

well you have a wonderful heart, but don't you really care gifts from others?? i mean, yes it's very better and very nice to give gifts, but why don't you wish to receive also gifts?? it's just a wish and i know all people love to receive also gifts and not by giving it always.. just be honest.!!
but what if tomorrow, one person will give a gifts to the people who have a wishes and he found out that you don't like some, so it's a sad thing on your part.. let's just say, "WHAT IF??"

I want a metal detector you know the kind you see people use at the beach. When I was young maybe 7 or so a great uncle had one and would take us out to old battle grounds to find bullets and buttons, I still have an old button and I just remember having so much fun digging around for whatever made that thing beep. I want to do that with my kids...lol a little corny I know but I have wanted one since I was that little girl with that brass button.

To be completely honest, this year there are no gifts that I can think of that I would really like to receive. I feel like I've got everything that I really need as it is right now. I've got my house and I've got my family and I've even got more material type of things than I really need. I see the gift of the holiday season as being able to spend time with my family so that is really the gift that I am looking forward to. Seeing my aunts and uncles and cousins is the gift that I wish for this Christmas. I would love to have the gift of getting to see some of my cousins that I haven't seen in a long time.

hi to the both of you,
both of you are very right and practical, maybe material things are just a secondary wish this coming season, and the best of it is for our family and love ones.. the health really matters and the long life we really want..
enjoy the life given by our Savior and be happy always..
take care to all of you..

I agree. I all about my family and household now. I don't want anything except my kids to be happy... I don't want any elaborate gift from my hubby like a diamond tennis bracelet or a new Mercedes...we could use that money for bills! lol or we'll be living in the car! lol Great point!

Christmas season is really in the air so the idea of getting what I want for Christmas is really very appealing. For me I would like to have my own laptop for Christmas. This laptop would be very helpful for me in my online activities. I really widh I could have one this coming Christmas. Who knows I might be able to give up my job and compltely work at home if I would have more time spent in my online activities.
So please Santa, I was really a good girl this year. I hope you can grant my wish.

I hope you get your gifts, would a cellphone with a built-in camera do?
I rarely ask for anything special, even when I was a kid I never demanded anything. I'm content with what I get and enjoy seeing other's having fun. Sure, I could wish for a new car, a new computer, a new this and that. But if I needed any of that I could get it any time of the year.
If I really want something it would be something a little different. There is a collection of back issue magazines I want. 98 issues for about $125. If I got that I would be the proudest person on the planet. The magazine is called Them Days, it's all about the people who live or have lived in Labrador. That would be the best gift I'd ever receive.

All I wish is that we should accept and know personally the celebrant for this christmas season. The LORD JESUS was born to save us from our sins. So the greatest that anyone could receive a gift for this season is to accept the reason for this occasion as HIS LORD and SAVIOUR, the LORD JESUS, HE is the greatest gifts for us.

oh yes we all know that already, and we know that it is the important event of the season, but i am also talking for the other side,
yes we celebrate it because it's the birthday of our SAVIOR, and we really celebrate that day..
my point is what gift do you want to receive if you have some, another point of view in our life i want to ask also..
just be frank and honest olepmis, aside from your answer above.!! hope to see you here more often..
merry Christmas...

I am more of the giver than the receiver, which is how I like it. I enjoy watching the expressions on the faces of others as they open their gifts but if I were to ask for something it definately wouldn't be anything materialistic. My wish would be for my significant other to final do away with his past and realize just how good I am to and for him. Too many women from his past have hurt him leaving him with scars so deep that after almost 2 years together I still can't get through to him.

i would love to receive a pair of giuseppe zanotti e90126 shoes. i have been craving for that pair for a couple of months now. i kept bugging my dad about them but according to him, it's not wise to spend $800 on just a pair of shoes. but to me they're not just shoes, they're HAPPINESS. hehe :) i hope i do get a pair for Christmas.

wow that is very rare kind of shoes, very expensive one.. $800?? that's very huge amount and for shoes alone.. well your dad has a point by saying that to you, but he himself could not stop you because it's your happiness as what you have said, i wish you can have them this Christmas.. good luck and have a nice day..!!

Hello Janebeth
I would like a happy healthy Xmas for my only son.
That would make me the happiest of all time.
I would wish that he could have peace and joy for just one Xmas, instead of always the hassle in his life.
