i am frightened of thunder and lighten.
it is rainy and hot these two months in our city which is near to sea,it is often heavy rain with thunder and lighten at night, i am often waked by the thunder.
Last night around 8 o'clock PM, after the lighten came with a fearful clasp of thunder, it was very noisy and seems just over our house.
The thunder and lighten lasted about half of hour,i was very scared, i sat down a chair at a corner of the house,coverd my eyes with a cloth,stuffed up my ears with my hands, i could not breath,my heart fluttered because of fear.
are you frightened of thunder and lighten? what do you like doing when it is thunder and lighten? how can i do to make me brave and not fear of thunder and lighten any more?

i don't scared very much for thunder and lighten,as we often saw this weather in the summer,one month will be appeared two or three times. but when in those day, i do not like to go outside.good luck and have a nice day!

thanks,it is fall in our city now,and it rarely have thunder and lightening in the fall, i feel relax and good.

Hello shuying. When I was small, I was very scared of thunder and lightning. Even now as an adult, I still feel very frightened about it. I try not to walk outside in the open air when it is lightning and thundering. I think that it is safer to stay indoors at this special time. Take care and thank you for the add.

yes,i think so,it is safer to stay indoors,but sometimes,it just happen we are out of door when the thunder and lightening is coming,i think it is a good choice to go into a nearest building.

I am sorry, shuying, but I can't offer any advice.
I am just about the opposite. When we have tropical storms I love to stand outside (sheltered from the rain) and watch the lightning. I think it is fascinating.
I am sorry you are unable to enjoy the spectacle. You are missing out on what is a great thrill to me. Rest assured, though, you are not alone. Many people are frightened of storms. I hope someone else can offer you some good advice.

thanks a lot for sharing your experience,you are really enjoying the tropical storms.
your feeling toward to storms is a also a big help to me,when the next tropical storms comes,i will try to change my idea about the storms and maybe not so frightened of storms again.
