Hi mrinali,
I don’t have any time frame for starting a new discussion. Earlier I used to start a discussion once in a week or twice etc. Recently I am starting discussions more frequently. I have some discussions with pending comments but when I got a new idea I feel to start it. I can do the comments later.

I Don't Start A Discussion If I Am Occupied .. That Is To Say I Have to Be Free If a Discussion Has To BE Started By Me .. I Give The Discussion A Lot of Thought .. Only When I Think My Discussion Is Worthy Of Catching A Mylotters Attention Do I Think Of Starting A Discussion .. That Is Not At All Regular Might Be One A Day If At All, Or None A Day .. Thank You For Reading through ..

My target is to start three discussions per day and respond to atleat ten discussions. But, it won't work out all the time. Sometiems I start only one discussions and I will get demotivated if I don't get many responses for that discussion. So, I won't start another discussion the same day. Somtimes I lack in ideas and get stuck.

Hi mrinali, I post a discussion when I have something which I think other people will find interesting or amusing and when I've time to keep up with the responses which come in. You were actually giving out misinformation above as it is not the frequency of discussions posted which help towards your reputation and earnings but the quality of the discussions you post. I see that you do comment back on responses which is good but the quick one liners won't earn for you, your comments need to be quality and round about four lines, as your responses to others should be to. Once you work that way and see more responses coming in and start having real discussions as opposed to question and answer sessions you will see your earnings rise and probably won't be able to keep up with a new quality discussion every three hours. It's often best at first to concentrate on responding to get a feel of how a quality discussion works. Hope you don't mind the tips.

there is no specific schedule that i start a discussion...I start discussion only when i have something worthy to talk about or share with my fellow mylotters...
i could start more than 2 discussions a day...the no go on without starting any topic for the rest of the week or so........
So, it just depends...

I only start a discussion whenever something interesting or bothersome pops out of my mind. I don't really spend time thinking on topics to discuss because I prefer and enjoy reading and answering other people's topics. I get to learn a lot and I get to share my own insights.

I only start discussion here in Mylot when I have something to ask to the members like questions about Paypal, about a site , when I want to share a problem and I badly need advice and help. When I am lonely, when someone hurt me. Mylot became my journal , my journal which everyone has a freedom to read and response. I am 100% certified that all I had shared here in Mylot are true and based on my experience. Sometimes I share here in Mylot about a popular news, so if I have something like that I will definitely post a discussion no matter what day and time it is.

I usually start one whenever one comes to mind. Sometimes starting one leads to another one. Just depends on my mood or if I am able to type when the idea comes to mind!

I only start a discussion as long as something interesting hit my mind. But what I usually do is check out yahoo news and comment on that here on myLot so that people can respond too.

Hi mrinali,
I'm usually a responder friend,
I've started only one Discussion till now...!
I'm interested in answering to discussions and commenting...!
I never fix any target,
If I feel like commenting I'll comment....
But I always respond to my comments....
I always wondered how much time every others will be spending here...!
And how much responses they'll be giving...
Thankyou for the useful topic...!

Hi Mrinali, it depends, sometimes, I can have several topic in my mind to start with, and sometimes, I can not think of anyone. By the way, why you start a new discussion after every 3 hours? Is that good for your rating or something else?

Actually it's the quality of your discussions and postings which affect these things, not frequency. One only earns by commenting on responses left on ones discussions, not by starting discussions frequently, and one line comments aren't going to bring you much. Your comments back need to be of quality and of at least four lines to make a difference, and try to turn the topics you post into actual discussions as opposed to just a list of questions and answers.
