I am preparing to create a TV show with subject "wedding".
I collected a lot of information from Internet and books.
I am interested to know more about wedding customs and arrangements in your region.

I'm Filipino, and one of the oldest wedding customs of Filipinos is called "pamamanhikan." Actually, this happens before a wedding wherein the family of the man formally asks the woman's hand in marriage in the presence of her family. These days, it's more like two families meeting (probably for the first time) before they officially become in-laws. Before, the guy would give gifts to the parents of his bride, sort of like a dowry, but modern couples nowadays don't do that anymore, they just tell the girl's parents, "We're getting married." :D

There is a custom here in the Philippines, wherein the couple will dance while the guest put money on the couple. It's either a box is provided or that the money (bills) will be pin on the couple's wedding wardrobe. Whatever money accumulated during the dance will be use by the couple to start their life as a married couple.

This is wonderful whatever you are doing now well in my country it is very simple, we are very simple in fact, the church is the only place we go to do a wedding however there are people who choose to do their wedding at the seaside, some on the mountains and some even at home. So no great customs are associated.
