Almost Free Crock Pot

I do some on-line surveys and one of my sites owes me £15 in Amazon vouchers and I've decided to put it towards a crock pot. I can find one with good reviews that is the right sized for £17.99 so it will cost me just under £3 and that includes delivery.
I had a pot for years but it died a while back and I do miss it and it is an economical and convenient way to cook.
What has been your best frugal "win" recently?

We were given a crock pot for a wedding present and loved it. Eventually it broke and we never got round to replacing it. If you are both out all day they are really useful. I am sure that I saw one in Asda last week for under a tenner. But it was small. I slavishly follow Martin Lewis and have occasionally found things that way. But the best that I ever found was an Apple computer that retailed at about £800 that I got for £399 from Toys R Us. They had decided to stop selling Apple computers and were getting rid of their old stock. I found out about it on a forum. Rang a few Toys R Us stores and got the one that I wanted. Getting such a discount off an Apple is almost unheard of. I was very lucky indeed.

Congrats on scoring a deal on a slow cooker!
I found a vintage Salton Yogurt Maker at a thrift shop a few weeks ago. It looks like it was never taken out of the box! I have yet to "play" with it, but hope to make some yogurt this winter.

I haven't had a frugal win that i remember lately.. but i do wait for sales when i need s omething, and the crock pot caught my eye on your discussion. I LOVE MY crock pot. I recently found out you dont even need to fill the thing with water. I thought you had to always have a boiled type dinner in it, but nope!! you can just add a little bit of water and it'll be fine.. What's your fav thing to cook in the crock pot ? I love ribs in honey garlic sauce. mmmm.
