which is the best download plugin for firefox?

I was searching for the best firefox plugin which will help me in downloading my files quicker using firefox. i have tried many download managers but never got any plugin for firefox directly can you suggest me good firefox download plugin.

If you are looking for the firefox extension then flashgot might be helpful, it is available for downloads in the addon section at firefox site. Anyways, it takes lots of tweaking Firefox before getting the best from it.

i use 'internet download manager' but it uses addon, not plugin. the things i like about this download manager is you can download videos from internet easily. Go0ogle it

I am now using Flashgot in combination with an external download manager FlashGet. Actually I use flashgot just to channel my downloads to FlashGet. FlashGet have this multi part downloading thing to speed it up, much much better that the built in firefox download.
