An animal rights TV commercial featuring Pamela Anderson as a sexy airport security guard has been deemed too racy. The former Baywatch actress made the advert for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). In it, she plays a security screener who strips animal-derived clothing off people, to convey the message that "cruelty doesn't fly". The advert had been due to air in New York airports during the city's fashion week, when a host of the industry's top people would be travelling in and out of town. However, CNN Airport Network banned the PETA commercial for fear that it could be seen by children. Despite the ban, Pamela Anderson is still planning to speak out against animal cruelty and wants to pitch the commerial to the likes of Sir Richard Branson. http://itn.co.uk/b576ed1d224b1ee847edda57ca6f8af0.html ========================================================= How can such an ad be banned??

That's weird. There are plenty of commercials on TV that are way more "sexy" than this one here. I personally love the "sexy" and humorous approach to promoting animal rights, and I think Pamela Anderson is a great spokesperson for this.
