What is the meaning of MP3, AVI, MPEG?

I always come across these acronyms but truthfully I really don't know what this means? Can you tell me what do these mean?

What does flv stand for?

Hey friend .flv stands for its an extension of flash video. And the others that you have mentioned its all about the extensions of video files. for example avi stands for audio video file. In this way there are many extensions of files. The quality of the file is dependent on the file extension.

Ya you are right they are of a poor quality and this kind of extension is mainly used as the biggest advantage about it is it saves space and allows to add more and more video to the server.
