What is freedom for you?

I have read many times, and heard about it too, that many people consider part of their rights and freedom to have a gun of their own and to legally shoot traspasers in their properties.
On the other hand, the most viewed TV serials show murders and bad uses of weapons.
Do you thing having weapons is part of your freedom? Why? Why not? What would freedom mean for you? Is there a definition for you where they could not take that away without losing it?

Hi marguicha!
Freedom for me is doing anything by your own will without being dictated by others. Having a weapon and legally shoot trespassers in their properties is not a humane practice of freedom. What if somebody you suspected to be an intruder doesn't have any bad intentions in visiting your property? Then one have been killed for no reason at all. Freedom is sweet when you don't hurt anybody...Good Day!

Meaning of freedom for me giving the right to talks, action and to express our opinion and our idea to other people without intimidation from another party for because my civil right guaranted by the law. The most viewed TV serial e.g show murders and bad uses of weapons I can not say it freedom, but criminals.

You are right. I hope us human beings grow up some day and donĀ“t use violence.
