I have to admit the Internet is a great thing if used in a positive manner for education, research, keeping in touch with family and friends, as well as lots of good entertainment. But then it also holds the scammers and criminals of all sorts that have just as much freedom on the Internet as the rest of us.
Do you think that the restriction free Internet has too much freedom and should have some sort of regulations or it's fine as is?
Just curious to see what others might think about this.

I am not so sure that there is a thing as to much freedom, there abuse of freedom those who do things that may be harmful to others and claim it is because they are free to do so.
Or those who think freedom means no rules at all.
It is like anything there needs to be balance. I thnk that people need to use common sense. Yes the internet is abused by those who use it ot scam others, and so are criminals, the thing is those who are tech savy will find ways around the restrictions that might be put in place if the innocent were along with the 'scamers' and 'criminals' to have their freedom restricted.
So no there is not to much freedom, there is however to many who do not think.
There are laws that make sense to go after those who may use the internet for criminal purposes.
Example freedom of speech, while I may not like or approve of what some hate groups might say, I do feel that they have the right to freely voice their opinions, I have the right, the freedom to not listen to the hate.

Yes with no regulations at all it sometimes makes the Internet a little scary. But at the same time, it also gives us so much. It's a shame that there are those who misuse it.

Hey,
No way, the Internet doesn't have too much freedom. Do you want everyone to be tracked, as they always are saying? It doesn't need to happen, people should just stop being so not smart, and just be aware of criminals and things like that. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Good point that you bring up there.
People should just use their common sense when dealing with the Internet.
