I usually leave a smiley - this one and ask them if they would mind ecplaining better. Sometimes it is a sort of sarcastic response so I would try and leave one along the same lines If it is a new user with just a couple of words I advise them that they ought to use the links provided to learn better how to get the most out of myLot

Smilies often say much more than words could ever do and they break the ice too - and get laughs

I tell them straight in the face to learn some english! Well, not quite like that, but I'll let them know in a polite manner that their sentence either makes no sense or is entirely unrelated to the topic at hand.

I usually just say "Thank you very much", rate them positive and go about my business. It's really no big deal.

I'm not a big poster as I am responder but when I see a response to a discussion that doesn't make sense, I check out the person's profile and see where they are from. There is a language gap sometimes. So if that is what I think it is, I just ask them a few questions in hopes they answer so I get more of a full picture of what they are talking about. If I can't make heads or tales out of it, I just say thanks for stopping by and leave it at that.

I really haven't run into that, but if I did, I would simply tell them that I don't understand what they are trying to tell me, and to explain it in a way that I can. I think some will post responses, just to be posting, and they really have nothing to do with the discussion at hand. Others don't speak very good english, so those are definitely hard to understand. Those, you knod of have to read between the lines, in order to figure out what they are saying. I would tell them to speak plainly, so that I can understand it. We all know there are some in here whose english isn't very good, but at least they are trying, and some I can unsderstand and some I can't. Some, don't have compleate sentences, and that makes it harder to figure out too. All, in all, I haven't had all that many problems trying to figure ou what htey are trying to say to me. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
