Season of the year

I have always liked spring best because I like working in the yard and watching things grow and the flowers bloom and I know its the end of having to bundle up to go out and fight snow. I like fall but dread what comes behind it.

any time the temp is below 90, even better, below 80! I love the flowers of spring in Texas, but I dread knowing that summer is coming!

Autumn is my favorite season of the year as well. In the summer the heat and humidity is stifling. We are still getting some steady humidity right now. Of course I don't relish the ice winter brings, and although spring is lovely - it also awakens my allergies. So fall is my favorite. I can take my dog for a walk without getting hot or having my allergies go on full attack. It's nice.

for some strange reason..I like winter, I love watching the snowfall and the quietness around it. Everything looks so beautiful in white.

Im SO happy the fall is coming around again and it just reminds me so much of living in Connecticut and I love the cool air, the rustling trees, still silent nights! The added bonus is Halloween my favorite halloween and Im going to have a blast decorating this year. I think I did a good job last year but got a late start and I know what Im aiming for this year. Im thinking jack skeleton.

Autumn and Spring are my two favorite seasons. I have never really decided on which I like more because I love how both are still cooler weather, not too hot, and not too cold. Also with spring flowers are starting to bloom and everything is going green again. Where I like the fall because all the leaves start to change as well to yellows, reds, oranges, and browns, your earthy colors. So see I really have a hard time deciding which I actually like the best.

I love the fall because I love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday but I also like spring because the weather is perfect. I live in an area where it gets very hot in the summer so weather that is just right, is perfect for me.

I can tell you my least favorite--winter--I live on the Applacian Mountain chain and our winters can be brutal. As much as I hate winter, I enjoy driving down the mountain (so long as the road is clear)when the snow makes the trees bend over the road and creates the illusion of a tunnel, awesome. The spring brings all new growth, I love watching as the layers of green works its way up the mountain, it starts greening at the lower elevations first then gradually, as things warm up, each elevation turns green. My apple tree fills with sweet scented blossems and it hums with bees. In the early morning hours I can hear the Canada geese on their return flight. Love it. In the fall, the cool air is welcome and the leaves changing is lovely. Summer, it's warm, the sun shines it's brightest, flowers blooming throwing their scent into the air, gardens full of vegetables, trees full of fruit--who could ask for more? Each season carries it's own special beauty, I can't claim a favorite.

Spring is my favorite because everything is waking up. The grass is changing the flowers are coming. You can smell a different in the air when the trees start to bud. Just like Fall, it is a changing season. I think summer and winter are a steady, but Spring and Fall are when everything changes because you can see it, feel it. I like Spring though because it tells me that everything is waking up to a new beginning.
