Do you tip when u get food brought out to you in the car.?

ive given the person a tip a few times when i called ahead and picked up food via Chili's, BJ's, or similars curbside service...is it necessary.?
or just a nice gesture.?

i do tip them if the change i get is not much.but if sometimes i dont tip them at all.i thik if you are a regular customer then giving tips will help becauseit will have its own benefits.but if it is totally new place then it is ok not to tip.

The custom here is to pay atleast 10% of the total bill as tips.

I always do, it's just the right thing to do. If you go inside and pick it up then no. But if somebody has to waite on you or serve you then it is worth a tip.

I always tip food service personnel because I believe a good part of their income depends on tips. If the service is good, I tip accordingly.

I don’t order that way and even if it was common here to give tips here, I wouldn’t.
I’d give a nurse/doctor a ‘tip’ before I ever would someone who brought my food.

I always tip them. They don't make that much, from what I hear. But I do make sure that when I tip it goes only to the person I am tipping. I don't think it's right if my waitress works her tail off for a good tip and she has to split it with someone who does a bad job.

no!but it only happens at mcdonalds when you go through the drivethrough, and they call themselves a fast food restuarant!!
