Both CH2 AND 7 are doing remakes of original local movies these days, and they are getting rampant. While I wish there would be original stories, I try to accept that this is now the trend. I must admit, I used to be great fan of movies for both local and foreign. I remember Viva films making good and serious movies, while Regal films use to make comedy films although they also make a few human drama films. Now, do you have some local films in mind that you want to see in TV? Well, I think Hihintayin kita sa Langit starring Rihard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta is a good one. For human drama, I prefer Palabra de Honor starring Eddie Garcia together with a lot of great actors and actresses. How about you?

hello there! well, i am also fond of watching those local films especially when it stars vilma santos or sharon cuneta! hehe so right now, the one that i am thinking that i think will be nice to see on tv is "sinungaling mong puso" originally stars vilma, aga and gaby! i really like this one and admire the way those three actors for this movie! and also "ikaw lang" with vilma also & cesar & ronnie ricketts...as well as other movies of sharon...its just that i can't think of any right now coz there's many good films that sharon made... Hihintayin kita sa Langit is really nice as well as Saan Ka Man Naroroon also with Dawn & Richard... There's also some from Maricel and Dina as well as Lorna...but i just don't know the titles...hehe but its playing on my mind... one thing i just don't like with these remakes is that sometimes its getting far from the original! huh! just like what they do with "Ngayon at Kailanman" sorry but i don't like how it goes right now! too bad coz i like the original so much!

I do love movie of our own and I love the 80's movies, like Himala, Oro Plata Mata. the comedy films of Eddie Garcia and Gloria Romero. Working girls, bagets to name a few. Katorse was now shown on Channel 2. there are additional cast like Enchong Dee which I don't like to add on the story. they did not do the original, okay that is there decision. I want to see the remake of Working Girls and bagets. These films are comedy films in the 80's that made a mark in our industry. And I love the flow of the movie, although it is cheesy.

i rather see the original movies than the remakes. The actors can't give the same justice to the roles as the originals can do.

I would really love to see a lot of old movies from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. I'd like to watch films by Lino Brocka, Ishmael Bernal, and Mike de Leon. I also would want to see TEMPTATION ISLAND. I know it wasn't exemplary in terms of production and script, but I think it speaks a lot of how much better life was before.
