hello i have a question about the high school checking account by chase bank. i opened a high school checking account back then when i was below 18 yrs old with my legal parent. since i just turned 18 i want to open up a new "regular" account. how can i open or upgrade my high school checking account with my account number remained the same?

You'll probably have to go to the bank in order to do this but it's easy enough to do. The bank can take care of switching your account over to a personal one without making you change your account number.

If you will go into the local bank branch and tell them what you are wanting to do, I am sure that they can do it. I don't think that you will have to change account numbers in order to do this. I have looked into one of those accounts for my daughter and I may open one up this week. I wish you luck with it.
