I myself loves to travel with my family, but you know because I was so focus my family, I was thinking of traveling alone, I was thinking that maybe being alone might give some more peace and quiet and I can totally relax. How about you?

When I was younger I enjoyed traveling with my mum to France, Greece, Spain and St Lucia. I traveled with my sister to France, Belgium and the USA. I traveled on my own most of all when I was younger. I traveled alone around Europe and did a trip around the world. These days I travel with my toddler son and baby daughter.

If I will have the opportunity to travel, I really like it with someone special. yes a family member could go along if they want too, the more the better, but I wish it would be with someone. Of course I am a lady, i think it will more colorful if I have a guy with me. Since I haven't experience travelling except going to work and going home, I mean travelling to far places, I wish I could have someone with me to help me to guide me, so I will not be lost in stranger country. And who will be taking pictures of me, no one, so i have to be with someone.

During Christmas or summer vacations, I travel with family and or cousins. Spur of the moment travels, I am with my freinds or cousins. Work related travel, I go alone or with a co-worker. I am hoping to travel alone to visit my friends in their respective hometowns. I hope to go hopping from one town to next province or city or whereever my freinds I haven't seen are now residing.

I've only traveled with my family. well to major places with my family. I guess i feel safer this way, they are with me. and its more fun i suppose, my siblings are pretty cool people. We have this one picture of us in our last vacation, it was in taj mahal. MY family is walking away from taj mahal, and all of us are laughing at someone's comment. very cool picture, i love it.

i also love to travel. most of the time, i travel with my siblings or friends. my friends and i have been to different parts of the country and it's really fun being with them. we like to go to amusement parks of another city/province. or just window shop in their malls. my siblings and i like nature tripping. we like beaches and forests and plains and fields. we take a lot of pictures whenever we travel.

I always travel with either my family or friends. I won't travel alone. It's too risky. I don't feel secure to do that. Plus, I tend to get lost easily, probably because I can't remember the road well by being there for the first time. That's why I need at least a travel buddy. Besides, it's more fun to travel in group. We can enjoy the vacation together and make more memory to be remember.

I have always thought the same thing. I have always either traveled with family or friends and have wondered if I would enjoy and find it more relaxing to travel alone. Some time it can get very exhusting to try to always make everyone happy. Making sure everyone gets to do what they want. Alot of times I come away from a trip thinking that is not what I really wanted to do, but at least everyone had a good time. But did I really have a good time. I am thinking next summer I will go on a cruise all by myself. doing what I want to do and seeing what I want to see. I will let you know how it goes and if it is better alone or with others

Thanks and my review according to yours discussion is that : I think both travelling alone or with a partner can be good . Apart that travelling together can possibly make some things cheaper ( one room for two people ) , easier ( a problem shared is a problem halved ) and safer ( one watches bags while the other sorts out bus tickets etc . ) , it can also be a great bonding experience for your relationship . On the other hand , travelling alone can be more rewarding as it's easier to meet new people ( locals , other travellers ) ,learn languages ( you're forced to speak to others , not just to your partner ) and you're entirely free on your decisions etc . Also travelling alone , you learn to deal with a lot of situations on your own , which makes you stronger and benefits for your life ... so may be think if you want to leave this " dealing with situations " to him ( which will probably happen as he's older , and a man ... ) . On the other hand , there are certainly some areas in the world where travelling alone as a women isn't too recommended ( safety , different situation of women etc . ) . In the end it's a preference thing . I personally prefer to travel alone , as it makes me free to do what I want , when I want , , where I want .
