Do you check the lock of your door everytime you go out?

Everytime I go out, I will check the lock of the door to make sure it's well locked, I have formed the habit, just like everytime I make sure that I bring the key with me. I check the door also every night before I go to bed. My husband never to do that, and he even tease me. I am wondering if I am only the one to be so careful. Do you do that also? Have you ever leave your door unlocked when you are out?

I live in a hostel where so many girls live. So, I have to make sure that I have locked the door properly in order to avoid thefts. My friend and I live in the same room. Somtimes I have a doubt after taking the steps down whether my room is locked or not. It is always safe to make sure that the door is locked.

Hi Daliaj, Yes, there are lots of people come and go in hotel. you must be very careful, or things are very easily to be stealed. By the way, why you mentioned there are many girls in the hotel? In my mind, man steal things much more than woman do. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I actually have this very weird thing where in my apartment my door always has to be locked. Even if I just walk in to grab something I have to turn that lock or I just don't feel safe or maybe its just liek an OCD thing. So most doors in my apartment are always locked. I do check my lock to everytime I leave. I check my car doors too when I go to leave them. Exspecally at school because a lot of break ins happen there and school books/ my musical equiptment isnt cheap. Dont let em tease you at least your safe!

Yes, I do. I am sometimes forgetful so every time I leave the house, I always lock the door and then recheck if it is properly lock. This goes the same thing with my car. Every time I get out of the car, I lock it and then recheck if it is properly lock.

Yes, I do. It has become my habit to check if I have really locked the door every time I go out of the house. I also do this to my car. I also make sure that I have the keys with me before I lock them. In fact, to insure that I have the keys, I always use the key to lock instead of just pushing the back side of the door knob. That way, I am always sure that I do not leave the key behind.

Not only do check my door locked or not many times when I go out or go to bed to sleep, I check gas, electricity, water applicance devices often too. :(
