Uninstall the software whatever you are not using often. Check the task manager for running process. End whatever not reqd. In Run menu, type msconfig and uncheck the startup files whichever not reqd. Delete unwanted files from your system. Use Regcleaner to cleanup your windows registry. At last defragment your harddisk drives.

oh.. sorry I forgot to put steps there. You have to follow each line as step. 1. Uninstall software 2. End processes from task manager 3. Run - Msconfig (to stop non-required process) 4. Delete files from harddisk 5. Defragment your hard drive

i have told a friend that i am using two browsers as well, mozilla and internet explorer. i also somewhat find the system slow. he told me the reason is because i have two browsers. another friend also said i have too many pictures saved hence it has taken so much space and also the reason why the computer is slow. now i wonder what i should do. remove one browser or remove my saved pictures. well, should we remove one browser? that i cant answer. ann

I think its ok to have two browser. If your C: drive is low on disk because of that pictures, I think you need to delete some to free some space.

If you remove unwanted things, the speed will pick up. We are doing that right now. Apart from that I do not know anything. My son says remove unwanted temporary files (temp files). Try this and see. May be your problem is solved.

When did you the process start slowing down? Is this an old pc or not? Maybe its a computer problem issue? Try also upgrading you internet provider, i suggest a DSL with an mbps speed connection...[ Happy Mylotting!

Try installing some registry cleaner. Maybe it can help to make your PC a little faster. Try Advance Uninstaller PRO 8.

i think that there must be any tasking running behind the running which u really dont need that may be any trojan. so check this out first in the task manager. and that is not acceptable ya one more thing mozilla is slower and u can go for the opera and chrome
