I quit coming to mylot for several months due to the outright hostility presented by supporters and opposers of this administration. It is not that I am for this president because if you have read any of my other discussions you will know in a heartbeat that I am not. HOWEVER
If there are as many people who oppose this man as I think there are, and that number seems to be growing... will you make your feelings felt where it counts? It may seem like a long time until the next election but believe me it is not that far off. If Congress members from your area throw in with the president on issues you disagree with will you cast your vote against them even if it means switching party affiliation? This is one real world way to have your voice heard, what do you think?

Even though I am registered to a party, I vote for who I think will either do the best job or f*ck things up the least regardless of what party they belong to.
I WILL be voting in my local election this year AND next year, as I vote in all elections, and I will certainly NOT vote for anybody who I feel is part of the problem. I will NOT vote for anybody who supported the insanity that has been shoved down our throats and the massive debt that has been heaped on our backs. I will NOT vote for anybody who has resisted investigating ACORN. I will NOT vote for anybody who supports the outrageous insults, belittlement, dismissiveness and demonization certain politicians have made of ANYBODY who has dared to rise up and voice dissent.

I will stand up, but I had to sit down to type this. I do not vote along party lines because that would be like eating at the same restaurant every time, all the time. I need somebody who will stand up for me, that's why I voted them into office, so they would uphold the constitution and the states charter. When they go against it I vote against them, if both the choices for office stink then I don't vote, I look for another candidate to represent the people without selfishness. I don't like Obama because his direction of this country is not the way it should be taken, I oppose him on everything and I will not be silenced and if I'm called a racists, homophobe, uninformed whatever I take that as a compliment because unless you can debate me with facts then you have no business opening your fat mouth to even garner a bended ear from me. (That was to all those libs)

Hear hear! Have you noticed how many discussions on this topic are vastly different than just a few short months ago? My how the tide has changed!
