Im sure everyone has heard by now of what Kanye did to Taylor Swift at the VMAs right?
Did any of you see him on Jay Leno last night? I was ready to boycott him myself because of what he did. He treated Taylor like crap and took something very very precious away from her and it was disgusting. But after seeing him on Leno last night I can't be as mad at him. He was obviously broken over it....He obviously is truely sorry he did it...and when Leno asked him what his mother would say to him it was like he reached in and ripped out his heart...
So the guy mad a really bad mistake and is sorry...should he be forgiven?
Of course we will forgive him and we should but the thing is this is a really good example of why you should ALWAYS keep you head on straight...dont drink so much that you dont know what you are doing and always think about wat you are doing before you speak....that goes for everyone not just Kanye...
He realizes he took something away from Taylor and he really is sorry...but no matter how sorry he is and no matter if she forgives him or not...he can never ever give her that moment back....that moment will forever be a bad memory for her.
Doing something terrible and then apologizing for it doesnt erase what you did.

i think he deserves the flak he has gotten since the incident not because im vindictive but because it will help him. he has an ego problem and when he sees some of his fans turn against him he will learn to ease up. i think in a few months this will be forgotten i just hope he's learned his lesson.

I agree...
did you see him on leno a few days after it happened? Once he sobered up and realised how much he hurt that young girl he did look really broke up about it....that was my original point though...we all make mistakes but if you know you have a tendency to act like an idiot when you drink then dont drink so much to begin with because you cant just say oh i was drunk sorry...that doesnt heal the hurt feelings....
It turned out to be a good thing for taylor as she got lots of great publicity for it and probably some extra album sales....

Hey,
This that happen on VMAs 2009 on New York with Kanye West and Taylor Swift, was very bad. Kanye was very stupid had do that because if a person win a award is because that person work for that and deserve.
Congratulations Taylor and continue your wonderful work on your songs

and i finally saw beyonces video that kanye was so excited about last week...
I would HARDLY call it the greatest video of all time....its a blank white slate with beyonce and two other girls gyrating around the stage....any two year old can do that....

I was so upset for what he did to her. My Daughter loves Taylor Swift she was is tears and my daughter is 12yrs old.
Think of these kids watching the VMA's what dose this teach them. some kids look up to these pop stars as there idol's
I am glad to see that he appologized to her. But it is true it will never be forgotten and it will be a horrible memory for her.

Of course he is forgiven, But will Ms Taylor forgive him?
Doing something bad and being sorry after is stupidity.
I do not even agree of him to take the place of micheal jackson to be the king of pop. He does not even come close to what MJ has done.

This is my two cents on Kanye and the VMA situation.
a) Beyonce won best video anyways.. so Kanye looked like an idiot for going on stage.
b) Kanye was wasted and looked like an idiot for going on stage.
c) It was only a VMA.. so Kanye looked like an idiot for flipping out about it.
Can you see a trend here?
But at the same time, it was kind of funny haha I want to know what idiot working for MTV let him on stage haha.
It was good to see that Beyonce let Taylor have her moment after. But people, it was a stupid award show - nothing to get that upset over.
I think Kanye is outrageous, obnoxious and ridiculous. But I love his music and won't stop listening to it because of something stupid like this. He's done worse in the past haha.
