I already have a couple of my favorite instruments, a violin and my mother's accordion (ca.1949/1950). I also have a keyboard, though I'd rather have a full sized piano. I haven't played any of them in years but I'm working up to getting back to it.
When my mother was 14 she was taking accordion lessons. She lived in a small mountaintop village, in PA. At that time there was bus service, mom told me that when the weather was bad the bus driver would stop part way up the mountain, make everyone get off and he'd drive the rest of the way up and wait for the passengers to catch up. Mom would have to carry her accordion on that walk, the driver wouldn't let her keep it on the bus. Talk about devotion to her music!
I took piano lessons from age 7 to age 10 and I loved it. I tried the clarinet but it just didn't measure up to the piano. I tried the guitar, if I had it today, learning would have been easier because of the internet, I didn't have anyone to help me learn at the time.
I plan to start playing the keyboard and violin again, I've been teaching my grand daughter the basics, I love passing on skills.

I have a guitar but I would specifically buy either a Gibson SG Angus Young Signature or Peavey Adrian Vandenberg Signature first - Electric Guitar, a Drum Kit - Preferably something that Tommy Aldrige Uses and a Bass Guitar.

Well, actually I have more than 3 different instruments already. My main instrument is the drums, have played for 2 years. I have a keyboard as well but don't use it much so often. Lastly, I've just ordered my bass today, so that completes the thing ;)

I always wanted a piano... got one of those plinky toys for Christmas when I was about 5, and refused to open the package because I knew it wasn't a real piano. It was especially disappointing as my brother got a guitar and my sister a violin. Sure, their instruments were child-sized cheapies, but at least they could be played like the real instruments they pretended to be. Can't do that with a toy "piano".

Thanks. I used to go over to a friend's house and practice on theirs when I was a teen and I did have a Casio keyboard in the 80s, but it wasn't the same. And now, I can't remember how to play anything on the piano anymore.

I always, as a kid, wanted to learn how to play the trumpet. So I would go for that. next thing would be a piano. I actually started to take piano lessons with a friend when I was an adolescent. The third instrument would probably be a violin, I find the sound very melancholic.

The first one will be definitely a piano as I love to play that one, the second one will be a violin as it was my first wish I made when I was seventeen years old, and the third one will be a drum as I like to hear metal songs too.

Ok let me think...
It would have to be the Bagpipes- because they are annoying and a interesting sound.
The didgeridoo- because it is awesome and a sound like no other.
Finally the simtar- because it is the coolest looking guitar like instrument that I know

i always wanted to be a part of an orchestra or an opera singer... Sometimes i imagine myself singing Christine's "Think of Me" in Phantom of the Opera. hehehe. as if i was that skilled.
The instruments that i wish to have are the following: i want to have a piano because i used to take piano lessons. I want to have a violin, and i sure do hope i wont have stiff neck. And last but not the least, i want to play a harp! That costs 1M here! And it is not all the time that you get to have a part in a musical score. And if you do have a part in a musical score, you always become center stage with your shining moment! wowowooww!!!

Hello, If I had the money I would buy a drum kit, electric guitar and a saxaphone. I have always enjoyed the sounds of these particular instruments and I have always admired the way that people who are talented can make these instruments really talk.

If I had the ability to magically make three instruments appear out of nowhere for me then I would probably get the following
1. A Les Paul guitar since it's one of the coolest guitars ever and you can't ignore that. Plus, it's design is super cool and it's even in a lot of animes, more than other instruments.
2. A Fender Jazz Bass left handed guitar, since it's used in the anime K-On and I'm planning to cosplay the bassist. I would love to have the real thing but it's really expensive so I'm going to have to make one on my own.
3. A Stradivarius violin, even though I don't play the violin, it's one of the most famous violins in the world and there are less than a hundred in existence today. I'd sure as hell learn to play the violin if I had one of those.

I would probably like to have a bass guitar, some programming equipment to make electrical beats (maybe some synthesizers with it as well or something), an electric guitar, I would also like to have an electronic drumset, and I wouldn't mind any other instruments that I could happen to get my hands on either.

I will buy a piano first. Then a guitar. The lat instrument will likely be a set of drums. What a cacophony that will make!

Hi,
If I had the money, I would most definitely buy a huge drum set, for the rocker in me, a grand piano to play with my daughter.... it would bring out the softer, more elegant me and I would most definitely choose an acoustic guitar.... just because my father used to have one and sang to my family when I was younger.
