Do you prefer, the flip type, cell phone or the usual candy bar type phone. There are plus and minus points in both the phones. Which do you prefer.

hello rameshkumaar57! good day, for me, on my side, i want to have or i prefer to have the flip type of phone because i can determine where the microphone is located same with the speaker, unlike the flat ones, i cannot determine where the mic is and sometimes the speaker is located at the back, that requires me to use a headset. :( but it's disadvantage is, you might break it in two if you dont take good care of it. btw my crush cellphone model is the Hitachi W32H hehe :D

Normally i don' think too much about the form factor for a mobile device so normally if specs are really good and useful for me form factor is one of the thing i can also accept it and stop!!I think the slide mode it will be better than other also because you can hide as you want he physical keyboards and so may be use the phone just wih touchscreen and in thsi way you can hav a thinner device than a fixed qwerty...

Hey, I usually prefer the ones that include a touch screen, I really like the ones that include it for example, like the iPhone has a really good one. I prefer the ones that have a bigger screen too, preferably 3-inches or larger. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Everybody loves the Iphone, but the only problem is, it is quite expensive in India, and costs nearly Rs.32,000 (U.S.$700).Thanks for the response.

I would to prefer to have a flip as I have a slide mobile now which once had a problem of the paper connecting the two slides getting cut...And bar type is not for me until and unless it is an extremely slim mobile..

Thanks for the response arthi_88. Regarding the slim mobile you can check up on Nokia 5310, which is quite slim and also is a music express phone.

Hi ramesh, I keened to own a flip type cell phone before. It’s really great to have a flip-open type cellular phone I thought that time After using my first cellular phone for three years or so, I then purchased a LG brand flip-open type cell phone. I felt really glad I finally could possess the desirable cell phone which I had been longing for After using it for quite some time, I found it’s not convenient when receiving call while driving. I found it’s rather difficulty for me to open it using a single hand only. I was not affordable to replace it with another new phone then, so I had to use it. Luckily I received a Nokia brand phone from my hubby in my birthday few years back. Anyway I like the normal type cell phone which is light and thin. Yeah, it’s easy to carry around Happy posting!

You are most welcome ramesh. Yeah, the flip type phone always looks cool when one talking on it. I believe you look great also while holding it near your ear I’m could hardly manage to use it nicely when driving. For the sake of convenience I have no choice, but have to use the candy bar type cell phone Have a nice day!

I have had both types of phones, but I do prefer the flip phone over the ones that don't have a flip. To me, the fliphone looks more classy than the regural phonses do. The phone I have now is an LG enVTouch, with a touch screen on the outside, and a qwerty keyboard on the inside. I use that for texting, as it is much easier than the touch screen. The touch screen can be a little touch as it is easy to hit icons and make calls by accident. Mine has lots of features, some of which I have used and others I haven't as yet, It also has a 3.2mp camera with video capabilites. It does take good pictures and video. All in all, I have a good phone, and I am glad that I bought it. Take care and happy mylotting.

Hey rosekiss, great people think alike,(He,He).Both of us think in the same lines, that the flip phone looks more classy and elegant than the candy bars. Of course, the touch screen, is entirely differnt. It is a class of its own. Thanks for the response.
