pan de sal dipped in hot coffee...

hehe...i think its not weird coz i also do that! haha specially when i was still in my parent's house...i like it better if there's cheese! haha it adds more flavor...and then after washing it in the coffee? we drink the coffee? haha i also do that not only with pandesal, i also do that in loaf /sliced breads... welcome to mylot.

Nothing beats this! It's one of the Filipino habits that will never ever fade (I hope so!). I remember quite a long time ago, every morning, my sister, my parents and I, would sit at the table with our coffee (mine's mixed with Milo ahahah), and dip our pandesals in! :) Wheee... I miss this! I haven't done this in a while you see. Thank you for reminding me to relish in this unique habit of ours :)

har har har this is fun. i can see my kiddy days flashing back. now i have a three year old son and he does not do that. he likes pandesal with cheese or chiz whiz. i even put condensed milk in my pandesal before i dip it. welcome to the wonderful world of mylot and hope to see more here. goodluck with your myloting

Yes, I also do that until now. It seems that there's something missing if I just eat pandesal without dipping it into a hot coffee. They perfectly jive!

i also do that! i dip pandesal in hot coffee or milo. whichever is available.
