how many films (cinema/dvd/video/tv) have you watched this year...

...and, are there any that you'd particularly recommend? I haven't seen much at the cinema this year but I've been able to buy videos for 10pence each at the local charity shop so have watched over 100 (I know... the sign of a sad, lonely and waster life ) Some have been complete crap, a few I had seen before - (either in full or fleeting bits in waking moments slouched on the sofa) and others that I hadn't expected to enjoy but did - such as Rainmaker. I've selected quite a wide variety from kids through to psychological thrillers (no westerns/Bond/martial arts)and the last one I watched was Sleepy Hollow. Any I should be keeping a special look out for??

This is an interesting discussion and I am sure that a lot of people like watching movies and watch them a lot, especially when it is really cold outside, and I like watching movies whenever me and my wife have time to watch them, and I am not sure how many we have watched this year, but I would say it is probably at least twenty especially with the movies that we watch on television, and the ones on DVD and I am sure we will watch a bunch more before the end of the year, even though I wish we had more time to watch movies even though with me working,it takes up a lot of time,so we can not do as many things as we used to do,have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I have seen a LOT.I think it's worth more than a year of movies.I have seen some in the theaters.I have around 300+ movies in my Ipod, and I haven't seen even half of them.for 2010,I am looking forward to see Toy Story 3,Salt,and The Chronicles of Narnia:Voyage of Dawn Threader.I missed Alice in Wonderland in cinemas.

Hi Wizzywig! I would say that so far this year I've seen about 50-75 movies, most of them via dvd. As far as which movies I'd recommend, I thought "Yes Men" starring Jim Carrey and "Paul Blart Mall Cop" starring Kevin James was very funny. "Gran Torino" starring Clint Eastwood was excellent. I also saw "Unforgiven" for the fist time and thought it was very good. Another Clint Eastwood film I watched for the first time this year was "In The Line Of Fire". An oldie but goodie is "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid". At the movie theater I saw "Disney's: Earth" which was amazing.

so far I watched about 80-90 movies in 2010. I am a movie addict, but donĀ“t go often to the cinema. I prefer watching dvd`s at home. the favorite of my "2010" movies is Gamer, because I like playing PC games aswell

Thats quite a lot in just 3 months. Do you borrow swap DVDs with friends or hire them - or do you buy them all?? If you watch at home, you can stop when you want to eat/drink or whatever and you can rewind if someone talks over an important bit!
