hi frnds..
der r so many directors in the film industry...sum of the directors i like are 1.alfred hitchcock 2.steven spielberg 3.francis ford coppola(god father) 4.martin scorcese 5.akira kurosawa n the list goes on........n der s a legend in tamil industry...he s a god father to many ppl includin me, tats kamalhaasan..i donno may b sum ppl dnt knw him...but am a die hard fan of him..n frnds i want to knw..,who is ur fav directors??

gr8....thnx alot fr ur response frnd...n the 5th dir i told was a chinese director..he was also made sum gud films..sum of his master piece r roshomon,seventh samurai..try to chk out these films if u get time...hav u seen apocalypse nw of coppola...can u tel me sum othr movies of him??thank u..happy mylotting frnd...

Every time I planned to watch a movie, my big consideration is always go to the director because I believed, film director is the biggest point how a movie comes out how it tastes and how it will fair in world cinema.
My favorite Foreign Film Directors are the following:
1. Steven Spielberg
2. Peter Jackson
3. George Lucas
4. James Cameron
5. Martin Scorsese
6. Francis Ford Coppola
7. Ang Lee
8. Wez Craven (for Horror Films)
9. Tim Robbin (he is a good director not just a fantastic actor)
10. Jacky Chan (his films are funny)
For local movie industry (Philippines) my favorites are:
1. Joey Reyes
2. Chito Roño
3. Joyce Bernal
4. Rory Quintos
5. Olivia Lamasan

gr8 frnd...thnx a lot fr ur response...can u tel me some of the films of wez craven who is famous for horror films...i like to see horror movies n also sum movies tat tim robbin directed...hav tim robin acted n directed in any of his movie??thnank you..happy mylotting frnd..

I like steven spielberg. i think he's innovative director and he's genius too.
i watched all his films and really like them. they opened my eyes to the fantastic imaginative world.
i think he should be in the top of film field and be remembered for ever. to be honest i don't think i can find another one who can have same achivement like he has done.
