People whose very name just gets your blood boiling...

Some are politicians, others are actors, some are musicians. But they aren't always celebrities, some are family, former friends, coworkers or employers.
I'm talking about the people who we don't like so much that the mere mention of their name elicits negative reactions within us. We don't even know most of them, nor will we probably ever meet them. But that doesn't matter, we can't stand them anyway.
Of course there are the universal ones.. Hitler would be among these, but it doesn't take a holocaust to earn a person this dubious status.
Who are yours? Mine are:
Hanoi Jane Fonda
Nancy Pelosi
John Lennon
Bill & Hillary Clinton
Gen. Eric (Black Beret) Shinseki

he was responsible for 'imagine'. if i hear that song once more i will take my sledgehammer to the jukebox. bit on the banal side especially when you've heard it 14 million times. otherwise quite like him,and he was very influential on music. i'm guessing ted has a political reason though.

Actually, JB, Imagine is a big part of it. When I was young I really liked that song, but one day I read the words... Even though I was well on my way to becoming a pretty good liberal back then, the ode to communism made my skin crawl.

Ooo, this is an intriguing discussion. It might take me a couple of pages to list all of the people who get me riled up just by thinking about them. However, in the interests of space and time, I'll name just a few.
Barack Obama
Barbra Streisand
Bill Clinton
Hillary Clinton
Rahm Emmanuel
Van Jones
Julia Roberts
Jennifer Lopez
Janet Napolitano
Robert Gibbs
Pete Carroll
Hugh Jackman
Perez Hilton
Harry Reid
Nancy Pelosi
David Axelrod
Rachel Maddow
Keith Olbermann
Rachael Ray
Ellen Degeneres
The loudmouthed, trash-talking students/faculty/alumni at the university that, unfortunately, I graduated from and am now trying to forget that I ever attended.
Jane Fonda
Kanye West
Faith Hill
Gloria Steinem
Bella Abzug
Whomever the current president of NOW is
ACORN people
SEIU people
Miley Cyrus
Whomever the president of NARAL is
Hugo Chavez
Kim Jong Il
...and I'd better stop here before I type anyone else. Yeah...there are a lot of people I can't stand. Fortunately, there are more people I can stand, so it's all good.

Hugh Jackman?? That totally made me think of Dr Cox from Scrubs with his "There's nothing in the world I hate more than Hugh Jackman" thing. I love Hugh - he's attractive and can sing and dance and act to a reasonable degree. I think there are MUCH worse actors (and singers and dancers) out there than him.

Anyone who thinks that New Orleans should be a "chocolate city," to the exclusion of all other races (we have Ray Nagin to thank for this lovely phrase).

wow now my list is endless as there a lot of people who fit that category in my life.. the worst is probably my aunt.. who we nicknamed "Saddam" because she is the female version of that guy..
Celebrities and well known people are all an annoyance to me.. but Paris Hilton not only annoys me but the very mention of her name causes me to punch anything that is next to me, so if you happen to mention her while you're next to me, say goodbye to your pretty face 'cause it wont be pretty after that!
by the way who the hell is Eric Shinseki???... that name alone is an annoyance!

Kanye West because of what he did at VMA.
and Al Gore... I'm not pertaining the person itself. It's just that there was a time we had a school debate concerning his name, and it pissed me off 'cause I dont know him so I got nothing to say about him.

Well,Let me see-Do we have a giant notebook somewhere we could list these?
The first two from your list-I get very aggravated with the President,Jim Carey is not really on the list, however I hate his movies. The list is way longer than this,tho-There are musicians(if you can call them that)that make my teeth ache and the list of politicians is endless.
