If you haven't heard of ShamWow, you must have been, as they say, living under a rock. With Vince and his ShamWow commercials they have become both a tv and internet favorite. Do a search on YouTube for the ShamWow song, it's great. Last year I got a box of the ShamWow towels, split it and used it with other little items for a christmas game we play with our family. I gave out 3 of the small ones and one of the large ones. That means I kept one small and 3 large for myself. In the past 10 months I have found them very useful, both for the suggestions in the commercial and for some ways I have found to use them. One way I use my ShamWow is a variation of using it like the swimmers and divers. I am Diabetic and during the year, depending on the weather, I have leg problems. Using a regular towel to dry my legs risks opening wounds. By using the ShamWow I just wrap the leg with the ShamWow and let it absorb the water. No irritation and it dries my leg so there is no retained water to mess things up. Another way I use ShamWow is a variation of using it as a bath mat, and a sponge to pick up liquid. My car has a leak, I think where the antenna goes into the fender. After a good rain the mat on the passenger side is soaked. Both during the rain and after it is over I put the ShamWow under the floor mat. I will take it and ring it out like they do in the commercial every time I get a chance, now it's like using it on a shallow pan the way it lays in some grooves in the floor board so I may have to ring it out over and over, but just by laying it on the floor and covering it with the mat, I dry out that area over time. How many of you have bought and used ShamWow? How do you use it? The normal ways like in the commercial, or do you have some innovative ideas for it's use?
