respect for new countrys rules?

what do you think about if you move to another country about how they live, like if i chose to move to a new country, i would out of respect, study there way of life, and do the best i could,by learning there language, and there ways, i would think that it would be a natural thing to do, i would never move and start a new life in a new country , and then try and say my way of life was better, otherwise why in the hell would i be there, what do you all think?
