well, i am in southern ontario canada and the temperature was about 22 today which is about 74 ish, so it was pretty nice, warm enough to wear capris and a short sleeved shirt but i imagine that fall will soon be upon us, not only in date (sept 22) but in the temperatures as well.

I am afraid the only alternative is for us to emigrate somewhere warm. It does make a difference. My BIL is in Singapore and there it rarely drops below 27/28 degrees. To wake up warm is wonderful. That said, I like to see a frost and snow on the odd occasion that it comes. It's the incessant rain that I find miserable.

Yes, I'm on the beach, suntan lotion is on, it's over 90 degrees in the shade here!
Okay, of course I'm joking . That's what's happening in my mind anyway... The truth of it is that I got drenched on our way back from the co-op, lol! I was so happy to get home so I could get a towel and change my dripping trousers. Soooo uncomfortable. Um, that sounds just as romantic doesn't it? lol!
It is cold and wet, but I'm hoping for some last sunny days before this becomes a permanent thing. Maybe if we all hope together it might happen??? Maybe we could do a, umm, what's the opposite of a rain dance???

Hately, I hope you have some rain soon. I would've sent it over if I could! Must be horrible knowing there'll be fires soon. I guess I shouldn't complain really, it could be a lot worse for us. I just don't like rain very much, should really have got used to it by now living in London, lol! I hope you get some wet stuff from the sky very soon!
P1key, yes, today was better, and I was a lot happier! Young men in shorts giving away free coffee, that sounds very good! I might have to take a trip to our local branch and see if they're doing it here too...

Well today it is hot out, but we have had a few cool days for a week a while back..and it is supposed to start raining tomorrow and have rain the rest of the week..So it will be a little cooler then. I am hopping that we will have a cooler Apple Day Festival this year since little sis will be in the parade since she is a Dance Pup this year. It is always hotter it seems with thousands of people packed on the streets.

We're having on again off again days with cardis and jumpers too. It's been lightly raining on and off all day which is just wonderful for the crops and garden but my friend is cutting and baling hay and the rain is not so good.
You'll be complaining about the cold and we will be melting in and whingeing about the heat soon enough my friend.

Last Friday we had 103 degree weather and I thought, "cool, perfect for the pool party tomorrow."
Wake up, Dawn, you're not in Los Angeles any more
The following morning we were woken up by thunderstorms. It did warm up enough to have the pool party though.
Right now it's a beautiful week in the 80's, so not quite Autumn yet. But it's coming sooner than I'm used to.
No pullovers though...
No turtlenecks either. (evil grin)

It is the 27th of september and have had the central heating on for an hour tonight. The weather is definately getting colder in the evenings need something to take the chill off.The weather has been really lovely just recently ,warm sunshine it is supposed to be like it again tomorrow {monday}.The farmers are crying out for rain and the gardens are so dry and dusty, not normal for England at this time of year normally it is pouring hard with rain. They are talking about a drought in the spring if it does not rain properly soon,so may places with to much rain and In kent it is so dry.

There hasn't been much rain over this summer. I was talking about that just yesterday with a lady at work who said that the grass was getting long. We have the gas boiler service scheduled for friday - after that the heating may well be on more often. I hope not. I pay so much for the blooming stuff that I'm almost afraid to use it! LOL.

Here in Atlanta (Georgia, USA) we had a beautiful day....fall-like for our area with gentle breezes and the hint of autumn's crisp smell in the air. No need for a pullover or sweater, although by now we are at least partially looking forward to those cozy days. Just a short sleeve top and some cropped pants were perfect with flip flops for today.....
But autumn brings the warmth of oven-baked, homestyle meals....and the pleasure of creating and sharing them with loved ones. Sweaters and socks make us feel snuggly and comforted....
I love summer heat....but as I get older....I also love the promise of winter's "chill" and all she brings with her.....

We've only traveled through North Carolina on our way up to New England. From what I've seen as well as what I've heard....it's beautiful. This area of the country is very nice - aesthetically....as well as the moderate/warm climate and cost of living. We come from New Hampshire originally....if I was still there....I wouldn't be as excited about autumn....three days of summer isn't enough and that's about all they get!

It is cooling down hee in Guelph, so I am taking a coat with me when I go to the cafe, incase I need it. When I do not need it I tie it around my waist, but it is always there when I need it.

Yes, although we have been having fairly warm weather in this part of the UK, there is a distinct chill in the air during the early morning and evening. I went out this morning in just my T-shirt, but I soon rushed back in to get something warmer to put on. It always seems to be a little sad to me to watch the summer slip away, even though we've had a very wet one. The colours of the leaves on the trees tend to be nice though, but they still signify colder weather and shorter days. - Derek

The leaves are turning here in Ohio and it's very early for them to do so. I think it's because we've had such a cool summer. This is the 34th coolest summer on record for America and the 2nd coolest in my state's history.
I love Autumn! It's so beautiful and I enjoy having my house open to the cool, fresh breeze!

According to calendar now here is Autumn. But now we are experiencing heavy shower almost every day. In our country there are six seasons. These are: Summer,Rainy,Autumn,Dewy,Winter and Spring. Now the Seasons have gone mad. They are not following the nature's rule.

We have not had a very hot summer and in just one week summer will be over. I for one am glad I like winter and autumn the best. I do not like very hot weather to me 80 degrees is hot enough. I like to be outside in the snow I do not like shoveling to much but I do still like winter the best.
