Hi everyone,
Was wondering about how many of us write for residual income sites, such as, Suite 101, Bukisa and Triond and how many write for upfront pay?? Which model do you think is better and why?? I personally write for a mix of both and enjoy the long-term haul of residual or passive income and also, enjoy the instant payment of upfront pay.
Do share your experiences and advice with us.
Thanks

I like having the upfront pay with the residual with it. I usually make about $25 a month in residual with one site. I am trying to write for other sites so I can earn more. It's hard to write for different sites when you are trying to give them different articles.

I only write for Helium and AC right now. I like AC because of the upfronts and the pv are always between $20 and $30. In the year I have been on Helium, I have only made $10 TOTAL LOL. AC sent me a 1099 last year and they are going to be sending me another one this year. GO AC!

I enjoy both. I like to make the small upfront payment but then I like my writing to continue to make money for me. I enjoy Associated COntent for this very reason.

I also write for both though admittedly more for upfront pay than residule. We have many bills to pay and no time to wait on the other type of income. I hope to make a change in that soon however.

Hi..
I know the lucrative appeal and instant money that upfront pay offers is so great that it becomes difficult to switch to a slower mode of payment. I wish you all the best and am sure you'll do great even in a residual income field. So,do you write for upfront paying sites or private clients. If there are any upfront paying sites, would you please let me also know abt them. thanks

Hi Pmalik, I prefer to have both components in a writing site.
Since my content stock is rather low, the bulk of my income from Helium is upfront, rather than passive.
I know some writers have the bulk of their income from passive, rather than upfront. Passive income needs a lot of time and effort to build up.
