Yesterday I caught my sister-in-law eating chocolate while studying her lessons. I asked her why, she told me that chocolate could improve memory. I was surprised, 'cause I never heard it before and so she explained to me. She said that dark chocolate can improve memory as much as 20% because it contained epicatechin a strong anti-oxidant, a type of flavonoids that is rich in cocoa which is very effective to improve cognitive ability of human brain and prevents dementia. But if you're trying to lose weight or trying to be thin, then this is not advisable for you. Have you heard any of this?

Yeah, my friend. But wait! too much chocolate is NEVER good for your brother. Just take it easy, there are other foods that's good for the brain. Like those leafy green vegetables, or some fruits like banana and apple. Or any veggies that is rich in Iron and Folic Acid. I can't give you the complete list.LOL But you can try to do some research and I'm sure you can come up with much more comprehensive idea and information. Anyway thank you for always sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

No wonder I have poor memory. I do not have sweet tooth, so chocolate and any other sweet dessert will not be favourite snacks. I have heard that chocolate does help to cheer us up and makes us feel good. I also knew from some of my friends that they will crave for chocolate when they are having menstrual. Yes, I am currently trying to lose weight, so it will be a BIG NO NO for chocolate.

Yeah, it's true. I advice you to take for a dark chocolate, it has less on fat and rich in epicatechin, an antioxidant that improve memory, compares to white or milk chocolate. But you must not forget to take small amount of chocolate every day, a four slices will do. Thanks for sharing with us and have a great day!

Never heard of it. Chocolate as far as I know can make you very fat. Maybe some coffee and a combination of peanut can make your memory boosted. Because coffee contains caffein tha will boost your alertness.

Some of the fats in the chocolate do not impact your cholesterol. It is only 1/3 of the fat in the dark chocolate is bad for you. Based on my research this is what I've found. Chocolate comes from cocoa beans. Dark chocolate is rich in epicatechin (the bitter taste of chocolate)compared to white or milk chocolate . Epicatechin is a type of flavonoids which act as an antioxidants. Antioxidants protect the body from aging caused by free radicals, which can cause damage that leads to heart disease. The health benefits of dark chocolate are the following: 1. It lower blood pressure 2. Lower cholesterol 3. It stimulates endorphin production, which gives a feeling of pleasure, 4.It contains serotonin, which acts as anti-depressant, it lightens up your mood along with helping you overcome depression in a natural way. 5. It contains theobromine, caffeine and other substance which are stimulants. A small bar of dark chocolate everyday is good for our body. And too much of-course would only give an unhealthy benefits.

Yeah, it's very good for the heart, just choose dark chocolates. Because it has less on sugar and rich in epicatechin compared to white chocolates. But having this benefits is not a license for you to eat plenty of chocolates. Four slices of chocolates will do. Thanks for sharing with us and have a great day!

Yeah, you're right. I've done some research about this and I was surprised to found a lots of health benefits on eating chocolates, most particularly dark chocolates. It said that the cocoa beans which is rich in dark chocolates can helped reduce or control the bad cholesterol in our bloodstream while raising the good cholesterol levels. They thus promote healthy heart. And aside from that it's also rich in natural antioxidants which in turn help in prevention against cancer, strokes and blood clots. Anyways thanks for sharing with us and have a great day!

Hmm, i have not heard of it before but I do know for a fact that the action of chewing can improve your memory? So it does not just need to be chocolate, you can chew gum as well. Especially for people who are afraid of gaining weight from chococlate, you can choose to eat sugar-free gum. Personally though I find eating when studying a distraction. But that is just me haha. I am the sort of person who likes to enjoy her food. So like, when I start eating chocolate, I think about how good it tastes etc ^^
