I have email accounts in Gmail, Yahoo and hotmail. Recently I have received four to five emails stating that I have won a lottery and to claim the prize I have to send my details and bank account information. Now I know that I didn't take part in any lottery, then where did it come from? I haven't sent any information about me yet. What should I do?

Ignore or delete the mail. That's 100% scam because no real bank would ask for your account information through simple email. Never give out any personal information if you don't know who the email is from.

So many bots are send out through softwares dediccated to retrieve peoples email addresses so each time you log into your accounts without the secured tab showing at the lower part of your browser i.e https:// you run th risk of exposing not just your accounts but your passwords and ids to these set of people so be very careful. All th best.

Hi biman, This is a scam, don't give personal information to anyone, especially banking information. I have received these myself and some that looks quite genuine but we have to be very careful because they will use every trick in the book to get your personal information. I simply delete such messages immediately and advise others to do the same. Blessings.
