I date my female friends out for shopping this weekend and she refused, and I ask why, she advised, " I did not get my salary this month yet, no money, how to go shopping?" I argued immediately, " We can go shopping without too much money, we can only hang around, try the new style cloth, please our eye and fresh our mind only" How about you? Are you going shopping for purpose? Or Are you going for window shopping? Among my friends, male friends usually will go shopping only if he has something to buy and female friend can go for shopping without any purpose. Surely, we will buy the favorite if the stuff suits our taste.

hi sasalove, Well i am from a middle class family and dont have enough money to buy everything but it does feel wonderful to see whats new in the market and if i had the money what i can do with it. Yes i do love window shopping and by window shopping i mean window shopping. I regularly go to Cannaught place in New delhi where there are big show rooms with large window displays on the outside of their show rooms.. I would walk the whole length for couple of hours and see whats on display. I love to see latest things in the market. Sometimes i have money but since i have that thing like say a mixer grinder so i would just look at what new grinders have come to market. many a times i go to big malls to just see whats there rather than actually buying anything.

Hi Asweetie, We are in the way to love the window shopping. Truely seldom of us can afford the dress at our will. It must be great when you go to Cannaught place to window view the the displays and I will be easily satified when I go to the shopping mall to have the window viewing only. And we can try the style that we love for free. Hehe~~

I love window shopping. Actually I consider window shopping as shopping for purpose. You may not buy anything yet but you get the idea what to buy next time you visit the store. It is like canvassing. You check out the stuff available to buy, see if something fits you right and know whether you can afford it or not. A good store owner values window shoppers because there is a big chance these window shoppers might turn into customers in the future.

Thanks for your reponse, yes, I agree with you, a good store owner values window shoppers, esp for the girl. Sometimes when I go with my friends and find the valuable stuff that might be expensive, then we will ask when they will be on sale, we will buy it on the sale season, which will save a lot.

I like window shopping too, and like you, I just enjoy seeing the items for sale and finding something that I like. I sometimes prefer seeing all the items that I want first before buying anything because I might regret buying something when I see something else better afterward.

Lol, I often regret for buying things that I did not need whilst I go shopping..

If I shop, I shop until I drop, literally. Window shopping annoys me as it makes me depressed if I can't have exactly what I want. Yes, it gives you an idea of what you want next time, but the way I see it, that is what internet shopping is for. I like to go shopping with a couple of hundred and come back with bags full. I can't just go shopping for one item which is a shame but I want it all when I do go.

Hehe,,,you must be enthusiasm in shopping with a buck of money, and I can image how full of your wardrobe it is;and my colleague always like to shop from the internet as the cost and the style are more competitive than the real market except for the courier expense there, but for the consuming concept, we should be careful as there is always a scam there that we will be caught.

I think I only go shopping for relax myself. When I go supermarket, I usually walk to see everything and if I have enough money, I'll buy it, if not, I'll see it and wish next time I go to there, I will have enough money to buy it. I don't know why when I have a stress I usually go to supermarket for nothing. It seems to reduce stress with me.Do you agree with me?

Yeah, I agree, window shopping is not just for potential purchasing, which is a good way to release yourself in the stressness or in a bad moon. When the new thing freshes your brain whilst window shopping, I am sure the bothering will be forgot soon.

Not only do I enjoy window shopping, I also enjoy walking through stores just to see what there is and look at things that I may like, even if I can't afford them. For me, this is all a way to motivate me and keep me pushing forward with my goals.

Hello, Sasalove, I don't like window shopping. I always go with purpose, when I go for cloths, it always takes me long time to find out one that suit me, sometimes, I just get back without anything, this really upset me. I know lots of female friends, they go for window shopping almost every weekend, while I like to spend time on internet, sleeping, cleaning at home.

Hello, Sasalove, of course I tried that, so I got the result that I do not like it. Yes, it's true that we may get some nice suits with cheaper price while it's on discount if we spend more time in the street. However, I feel window shopping is quite wasting of time. I prefer to go shopping whenever there is need. Happy mylotting.

Hello Karen, Maybe you are not used to going window shopping, once you did, I am sure you will get addicted to soon. Hehe...Sometimes when you want to buy clothes intentionally, you rarely can buy it out of the expensive price or the outdated style.

I do love to window shop. I like to window shop when the stores are closed. I get so many good decorating ideas from the furniture stores that always has a nice display. I then look for the same (or nearly the same) pieces they have in their window displays but at a cheaper price. Back when I was sewing a lot I would go look at designer clothes then go home and make my own. A day of window shopping and a few sketches of the ones I liked the most would keep me busy for days. I still go window shopping but I now go while the stores are open just in case I see something I just can't live without.

Hi Kowgirl, Wow, you must be very good at the household, and prepare everything home neatly,I love to window view the furniture stores also, different design of the furniture will make me full of imagination of my future house, how's the layout of my living room, bedroom and what kinds of furniture should be decorated. But when I shop around the cloth, I did not see meticulously as yours as I am a bad hand crafter..I just see the cloth design and afford the one if I like.

Both me and my wife love window shopping. She is a little bit more adventrous than me, and she goes into the shop, and tries a few things, and walks out without making a purchase. We usually go out for shopping with a purpose only, but at the same time, we also love window shopping for the expensive stuff, which we cannot afford. Surely, we will buy the favorite, if the stuff suits our taste, only on one condition, that is affordability.

I love window shopping even if I do not have money. It's the fun of being with your friends; hang-out, chat, try some clothes and see if it looks good on you and just come back if you can buy it. It's bonding time with your friends that counts not the things the you buy or they buy.

Yeah, window shopping with your friends is far more beyond just pleasing your eye, the most important thing is that we can share the daily issue with our friends, the significance is more than that. Thanks.

I love window shopping with my friends and cousins. We check out items we like to buy if we have the budget. I window shop with my friends and co-worker before salary day and check out new shirts or bags and those on sale wishing they are still on sale after we have the budget. Then I window shop with my cousins for household items, appliances and furniture. It's fun really and it's exercise too since walking up and down the department store uses all your energy.

I do like window shopping because I know how much stuff will be so that when I have money, I know exactly where I need to go for what. I've been doing it alot of my wedding so that I know where I'm getting things from and can compare prices.

I don't like to go window shopping. It's too tiring to move around the mall. I guess it's much better if you really have something to buy.

I love going window shopping as well because I get to see what's new and what's hot. Even though I get upset because I can't buy things I like, at least I am not behind on what's people talking about or what people are buying these days. I also try to be with my family or friends so that even if I don't get the satisfaction from buying new stuff, al least I have them to spend quality time with and to try out new things for free!

I do not like window shopping. What is the use of just going out and we are not able to buy the things we buy.If we want to roam outside and take a look at the city it is a different story.I do window shopping with my mom sometimes to see whether the clothes color combination are good so we can buy them on festivals.I will mostly try to take enough cash in my purse so if i like a product through window shopping i can buy it.

A very good way to catch up with the trend.I did not know there are other guys like me in this world. When i go to a shop and i buy for the things i like and if the bill goes above expectation then i get frustrated. At home i keep think why i was not having cash. Thanks for giving your opinions and happy mylotting.

Wow,I think you are the realist that you will go shopping for the stuff you need. And I think most of the guy arounds me hold the same shopping attitude like you and they will feel unsafe if there is not any penny in their pocket. For most of the girl, they prefer to view the fashion through window shopping only. And I am one of that girl. Maybe I did not have enough cash to catch up the trend, but I can know how to match my clothes using my current clothes. That is the greatest harvest from window shopping, I supposed. Have a nice day.

I do not go there for window shopping in fact but to take a walk but I have to look at the windows so people over there do not take me for a shop lifter. I just look at the windows for the sake of looking only.

Hi sasalove My best friend love window shopping and even my boyfriend like it too! Well, I know sometimes window shopping is good, we can check good items, see the latest trend, visit place with cheaper price, etc. But honestly, I feel shy! Really, I feel shy if I enter one shop for a long time, or just enter one shop for a while and don't buy anything.. I wonder what will other people or the shop keeper think about me. So, I rarely do window shopping. But yes, I like to visit one shop if I walk, pass by one shop with nice clothes or shoes inside and I will come, see the price and the next time I'll go to that shop to buy it. But I never go to a place purely to do window shopping

Um..yeah I know the sales and shopkeeper will feel very happy if we always buy,,hehehe.. but I just feel shy, I don't know why. It's okay for me to take a look at one or two shop if there's interesting clothes or shoes, but not go for window shopping only. My friend says I'm strange but it's me And I don't have any courage to ask the shopkeeper to keep certain clothes to me, because I think whoever faster have the right to buy that things,,hehehe Really wanna learn about shopping psychology. Teach me

Hi Chrysan, I am not dare to teach you, I am just brazenfaced enough to support my heart. But just like a sales man, I really envy those successful salesman who can sell their items easily. But I am sure they take much efforts to train themselves if they are eager to achieve. I am sure you can if you would like to. As a matter of fact, I really want to study the psychology to fulfill my expectation on the career or life. Happy Mylotting!

Lol, if every customer will buy the items they browse, I am sure the shopkeeping will be very happy about that:) I am not shy or embarrassed if I do not like the style no matter how persuasive of the salesgirl is. Surely if the style is the kind of I like and I do not prepare money to afford, I will tell the sales girl to keep it for me first and I will buy it at a certain of time. Psycology is very important to our shopping concept and I do think that we should have the strategy to handle the hassle shopkeeper. You will feel satisfied when you do this. Thanks for your repsonse and Happy Mylotting!

I absolutely HATE window shopping because it just makes me envious of people who have money and discontented with my lot in life. If I go window shopping, I'll end up trying on all these clothes and then getting really jealous of everyone with money and that only makes me angry at the world. Even worse, I may be tempted to use my credit card to buy things that I can ill-afford. So no, I refuse to go window shopping because it just doesn't make me happy to see all this stuff that I can't have. It's like saying to someone, "Check out all these really delicious chocolates! But you can only look at them, no eating!" It would be better if they hadn't shown you the chocolates in the first place!!
