I really feel like the lone ranger sometimes. To hear others talk and things I have seen in the legistlature I think there are still people who do not believe this movie had ANY truth to it. What is your stand on this? Do you believe we are depleting our natural resources? Do you believe we are losing alot of our animals to land eradication? Do you believe we all have to do our part or we will lose much in the end? Does this tie in to the 2012 theory? Is this all a hoax? What are your thoughts?

There sure was. One more reason it is amazing to me that people in government, supposedly learned people, deny any truth in it.

no it's not a hoax. i haven't seen an inconvenient truth although i have seen another climate change documentary one called the age of stupid, which was fairly well done although i always like to research what these kind of films are bringing up myself.

Ofcourse! It is all well documented online too. It interests me because so many in government say it is all rubbish and yet it is all right infront of us to see.

Darn I havent seen it!
We do loose some wild life for all the building that is done around here.
Makes me laugh when a scorpuion shows up in work place that they put a building right where they live or a cougar comeing inand laying on a bed in a furniture store for it used to be his home ground!
But I dont think the world will end in 2012!

It is funny! I don't know what they expect. And then they take the animal and kill it. Amazing. No, I don't believe in 2012 either. It is their interpretation of the Bible.

We are already losing land to climate change. There are islands in the south seas that have had to be evacuated due to rising water. Those people are now refugees. Here in Canada a lot of Inuit have had to relocate due to land erosion and ice loss.
As for the 2012 theory, I think that's just silly. The world was supposed to end in 2000 too.

Every action causes a reaction, even if we don't understand the reaction or even if we deny the evidence of the reaction. In general, we are using up resources and we treat the earth as a dumping ground. It's very sad to see the litter and destruction of nature.
As for what will happen? I guess that we'll all see. I think that we'll see it in our lifetimes. The next generation of people may have a very hard time.
