Who is your favorite True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse series character?

I am honestly obsessed with Eric Northman. So that answers the question, if you'd ask me. I am a fan of HBO True Blood. Season two is about to end though.
I like Eric Northman because.. does that even need explanation? I just admire him so much. He's my type of guy. 
I like him on tv and in the books.
My favorite tv character of True Blood is Lafayette. He's just so cool and funny.

I like Sam Merlotte because he's the only stable man Sookie can always count on in the book series. Although the Sam character in the TV series was portrayed a bit differently from the books, I still like him.

I like Eric Northman in both the series and book. I like him in the series because he's how I had pictured him as I read the book. I like him in the book because over the course of the nine that I have read he has really grown on me. At first I didn't like him, I thought of him as not a very nice vamp and ruthless. But as time went on I guess I got a better understanding of why he is the way he his and how the vampire culture created him to be like that.
