Been taken advantage of.

I think being taken advantage of is a usual experience. Regardless how careful we are, we tend to fall into a persons' scheme.
Anyhow, with all these scammers about, how do you protect yourself or your family from being taken advantage of? Do you hire people or do you yourself 'investigate'? or are you still as gullible as could be?

well to protect myself from this scammer is i will always be aware with everything and i never trust anyone easily, not until i know who he/she really are. And i will do the investigation myself, never hire anyone since i wont trust anyone easily though he/she is a professional detective or something else
