Hello MyLotters,
What work do you do and what are the hours that you work?
I work 5 days a week and get a weekend off every 6 weeks. I can work any time between 8am and 10pm.
I enjoy my job and don't mind working these hours but it is up and down all week so find it difficult to get a routine.
Is 9-5 the way to go?
What are your thoughts?

Hello Georgina. I have to work 8 to 5. That's when things are normal. Quite often though, I have to put in more hours, some times go right upto midnight. My job has to do with international trading. So, the time zones are so different. Their day time is my night time. So, often I have to stay late to communicate with them. Very tiring some times ! Well, but that's the nature of the job !

I'm a preschool teacher and I work 8-4:30PM five days a week. I used to work 9-5:30 but I've thankfulyl switched shifts. It's hard working 8-4:30 sometimes. Sometimes it's hard getting up in the morning but once I get moving it's usually a lot easier to go about my day. However, I sometimes feel so bored and feel like my life is so dull because I'm constantly doing the same things.
However, I do enjoy my job and I'm very glad that I was able to get the job that I got, at the place that I'm employeed at. So many people were dying to get their foot in the door and thankfully I was able to.

My husband and I own a motorcycle shop. Our posted hours are from 10:00 until 6:00, five days a week, but we're there early a lot and many times are still there long after closing time. My husband likes to get in early, before any customes stop by because they interrupt him. Many times we also end up doing some kind of work related activity on our days off, too, but that's how it goes when you're a small business owner.

9-5 eh? I use to have this working hours and it worked great for me, I had sufficient time to sleep and at least I had time to watch my favorite show on TV too.
I'm a freelance photographer and multimedia editor. So my work hours is the time I sit in front of my PC until I finally give in to bed!

I'm working in China as a lawyer. My working hours are not fixed. I may attend a trial at half past eight in a remote place, which means I have to get up very early. For there are a lot of affairs to handle, I have to work overtime regularly, so I often feel very tired. It's really a chanllenging work. However, when you solve the task of your client successfully, you could always have a sense of achievement.
