So, your going to take a cherry picked collection of video clips of the nearly 150 thousand people there and call it "what the protests are about?". If I looked long enough I could probably find a secion protesting bunnies too, would that be equally repesenative?
This was the culmination of a lot of things, alot of the issues stemming back through the bush administration.

I actually preffer to compare it to the video released before the election where we got to see drooling, slack jawed Obama supporters demonstrate their complete ignorance on any of his political stances.
My intent was not to attack. Merely to demonstrate that there are "sheeple" on both sides on the argument. There were people who jumped on Obamas bandwagon because it was cool. Now they are jumping wagons to the "Obama is a Muslim Socialist" camp because its hot right now.
I find it an endless source of entertainment.

It would be far better if there was a few leaders emerging from this who could effectively focus the issues, the REAL issues and weed out the wierdo's, idiots, sheep and the WORST OF ALL....The hijackers of the movement. It would not only make it more effective, it would draw a lot more people in to it.

This is exactly what I have been saying. The majority of Americans are so fickle they don't even care what direction the wagon is heading, so long as they are aboard. Every "movement" has followers who really have no idea why they are involved, and often times many who end up distorting the movement until it is no longer distinguishable.

They were about a lot of things: rising taxes, the bailouts, the stimulus bill, socialized medical care, the health care bill, fears the USA is being led into facism and socialism, and turned into a third world country, tax dollars funding abortion, religious freedom, etc, etc, etc,.........
