I know that everybody love Mean Girls, but I am not a fan of the movie. I really enjoy movies like She's All That, She's The Man, Friday Night Lights, 10 Things I hate About You, and the newest one is Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. You should watch the last one, it is a subtle and gentle way to show teenage love in a movie. I also read that The Breakfast Club back in the 80's is a very good movie

I don't get why everyone likes mean girls. There isn't a single character that you can relate to, like or care for. But then again, it's called mean girls...It was just an average teen flick. Wasn't funny nor interesting in any way but I watched it just because of Lacey Chabert anyway.
I can't really recall the best teen flick right now so I can tell you the last two I remember watching that I liked.
"17 Again" and "She's the man".

Agreed on you with She's The Man! It definetely cranks me up lol. I think 17 again is so-so, it's only good when Zac Efron's friend (I don't know his name) shows up with his goofy attitude
