I think 5 mega pixel image are ....
(1)Superfine JPEG (100% / Adobe quality 10) =1,500 kb (1.5 Mb)
(2)Fine JPEG (90% / Adobe quality 7) = 600 kb (0.6 Mb)
(3)Regular JPEG (80% / Adobe quality 6) = 350 kb (0.35 Mb)
(4)JPEG2000 (uncompressed) = 4,000 kb (4.0 Mb)
(5)TIF (uncompressed) = 9,200 kb (9.2 Mb) like RAW image
(6)TIF (LZW compressed) = 4,500 kb (4.5 Mb)
(7)CRW (Canon RAW format)=2,300 kb (2.3 Mb)
and then
Mega pixel = Width and Height
0.063 = 320,200
0.224 = 640,350
0.3 = 640,480
0.5 = 800,600
0.8 = 1024,768
1.3 = 1280,1024 (like 1 mega pixel)
1.9 = 1600,1200
2.3 = 1920,1200
thanks,
