Fear of the Number Thirteen

Are you a person who does not like the number thirteen? Have you noticed that hotels don't have a thirteenth floor or the number thirteen on elevator panels. Thirteen is thought to be a very unlucky number by a lot of people in all walks of life. How do you feel about that number? Is there anyone who has had good luck in some way with the number thirteen? there is nothing wrong with that number for me when i was in school age, i always buy a bus ticket with that seat number and 13 is the number of my son, my family consist of 6 person and so does my wife's

...Hi oedhapost, thanks for your response. I think any number can probably be tied to a series of good and bad things. Somebody just stuck 13 with most of the bad things, probably for no good cause. Take it easy.

13 doesn't bother me,but i can't walk under a ladder without crossing my fingers or if i say something that will tempt fate i always touch wood

The number 13 doesn't bother me. I did notice that a lot of hotels don't have a thirteenth floor. It falls back to supersitions, and I am a supersitious person. But, for some reason the number thirteen is one superstition I don't buy into. I think it's because that was my volleyball number for a while.

...Hi there, thanks for your comment. I don't think much about the number until I hear someone talk about it or Friday happens to fall on the thirteenth. I really think it is a myth and things go on around any number, good and bad. I adopted the number 7 for some reason, as my lucky number, don't ask me why. Nice to chat with you, take care.

Thirteen? what's wrong with thirteen, I think I'm not kind of people who believe superstition much. I born on 13th day of the month, and until now I never experience anything unusual like unlucky or something, my life just normal as other people too. So I guess I'm not care much about thirteen number, it's just a number that's all.

I don't think of 13 as being unlucky. Just the opposite because of the 12 apostles and the Christ..13. ENJOY!
