It was my mother-in-law's first year death anniversary, yesterday.
At the same time, it was Patrick's 6th birthday.
We had been in the province the whole day yesterday.
That's almost 2 hours of travel with motorcycle from the city.
Aside from having no internet connection the other night.
The whole day's celebration in the province made me away for sometimes.
Well, it's nice to be back, AGAIN...
I heard from my office-mates, that one, it was her deceased grandmother's birthday too.
The other one said, it was her third kid's birthday.
Anyway, do you have this kind of twin celebration or a double celebration in the family?
Like you have two people to celebrate their birthdays in the same date?
Or it's your wedding anniversary and at the same time, it's your parent-in-laws' wedding anniversary too?

hi neil,
same here, and we're back for good, ..
i miss myLot, and i crave to answer here again..
well, on your topic, there are many dates like birthdays who also have the same dates to others..
my brother's birthday is August 12, and two of my cousins also have the same birth date.. so it ended up to a triple celebration and it is much saver to my mom, .. also the wedding anniversary of my parents is the same in the birth date of my tita, so funny but it's true..
my grandfather will be celebrating his birthday this coming 26 together with my 4 year old cousin, another eating caravan next week..

I'm glad to see you back again, Neil. I hope you enjoyed the day yesterday, although it does have some sad memories along with the good.
I have two cousins whose birthdays fall on the same day, March 13th, only one year apart. My mother and stepfather were married on the same day as the birthday of a good friend of mine. My mother's and father's birthdays were only one day apart so we always celebrated them together.
I have also met 3 people whose birthday is the same day as mine but we are not close so we do not celebrate together.
So, that's it. I can't think of anyone else that I know who shares a birthday with someone else that I know, or who they know. I do know that my birthday is one week after the birthday of a very special little boy! I'm sorry I missed it this year but I sure won't miss it next year!

don't push yourself marti. it's really a great experience for us, and it's an honor to have you here in our place. but if your body can't make it and your health (well, i hope and pray you get better), we can always do it through the net.
always take care, dear marti.
love and hugs.

hi marti.
the day yesterday was so tiring. i had to drive the motorcycle for 2 hours going to the city. my butttt can't take much longer than an hour so we had to stop and had some stretching along the way. at 5 pm, we had to travel again back to the city, where we had left the other kids.
along the way, we saw a bakeshop so bebie decided to buy a roll of cake for patrick, and so that we can have some presents too, for those who waits us.
funny when we got home, and the other kids saw the cake, wow, they gone crazy, including the little angel. how could you imagine, they ate their shares of the cake, in their bare hands.
tiring though, but it all gone when we got home and saw how the kids gone crazy with the foods we brought home.
well, dear marti, i am very sure too, that next year's celebration of auntie and zayzay are going to be memorable and very special. i just don't know how it will happen, but i am sure it will.

I would love to visit and celebrate Zayzay's birthday and mine together next year but I'm not sure if that will happen in person. I'll have to see how things are going next year first. If my health is good, there's nothing I would like better than to travel but, if I can't make it in person, I'll definitely be there via video and send Zayzay a very special message on his birthday. Of course, I'll also have to send him a special birthday present from his Auntie Marti.

My brother and sisters (I mean my cousins, in my place the sons/daughter of the mother's sister or father's brother we call as brother/sisters only, for son/daughter of mother's brother or father's sister as cousins) have celebrate the same day as their birthday.
...and their parents have their birthday just the next day, the same date the next month we have another sister's birthday(same as above)..
Have a great day.

In my family, we always have some kind of double celebration. My wedding anniversary is the same with my parent's wedding anniversary. My youngest son's birthday is the same with my mom's birthday. My sister's wedding anniversary is the same as my father's birthday. Hope you had fun yesterday best...HUGZ to you..Miss yah!!

hi best.
i dearly miss you best, you know that. sad
one thing about double celebration or a group celebration, as mentioned by one of the responders, is saving some money. i guess you also experience that? confused
well, yesterday was a nice day. we prepare the food. people came in to pray for mom's soul. we went to the cemetery to again, pray. but it was too tiring. we went there with my motorcycle, about 2 hours of driving. and at 5 pm, we had to go back. another 2 hour drive.
the travel was tiring as you can't stretch your feet. our buttttt were in pains, the back, the waist, etc. ache.
but in totality, it was fun.
when we arrive back home in the city, the other kids we very happy. most especially Zayzay, the youngest. when they saw the cake we bought from Goldilock's, they immediately took their own plates and had their shares of it. they all eat in bare hands, including Zayzay.

Thank you my friend.
