Many say that stretching is important for the muscle. I do it everytime I get up from bed whether I wake up late at night(because I work night shift so usually got up around nine in the evening). Stretching improves muscle imbalances. It is essential for every exercise that we do for it helps to reduce some muscle soreness after we work out. Which I think is very true, I tried it before and I saw the difference if I warm-up first before exercising. I only do simple exercises such as jogging and brisk walking. I do believe that it is important for us to exercise to maintain our body in good shape and it makes us to have a healthy lifestyle. Happy mylotting too!

yes, love it! lol
i do the simple stretching in bed to awaken my nerves, veins, arteries, bones, and all ... hahaha.
yes, seems all of them sleep with me and i need to wake them up too upon getting out of bed. it is not good to immediately stand up upon opening the eyes ... i feel like getting imbalanced while standing.

hi jane.
i am also a very busy person, so i have no time to exercise. it's always be a cup of coffee and way to go to the bath. and it all goes all the way to work in the office.
i know it keeps us more fit and healthier if we have regular exercise. so if you can do it regularly, go on, girl...

yes, but not too often, normally i do feel the exercise when my mom orders me around to buy stuff. it does revive muscles and blood in your veins.stretching makes you movable and won't have pains in the back, arms or shoulders.now am only focus on not eating too much

Yes, that is normal. I get up and then do my calisthenics. On week-ends I do full stretching exercises to warm up my muscles to go for a long jog around the park. Then after the jog, I warm down with slow motion exercises. Do you do this as well?

I have to stretch before I get out of bed in the morning. If I don't stretch my feet hurt, my legs hurt and I'm just generally kind of grumpy if I don't get a chance to stretch and wake up. I think in general, I only stretch for about a minute before I get out of bed, stretch again and get ready for the day.

Hi, janebeth
I am afraid I do not get any exercise these days. I am just too busy in the morning and too tired in the evening. Neither do I do some stretching. I used to go to the gym but I stopped more than a year ago. I guess I have to rectify that and have to include gym fees in the budget and, more importantly, find at least a couple of hours a day to exercise.
Take care!

hi rain, you should give yourself a little bit walking or jogging.. stretching is good also if you can't do the heavy one.., i have read a one book that says, 15, 000 steps everyday to keep your body fit and make you healthy.. i can't do even 300 steps, what about the 15, 000 one..

It is funny that you sounded like you was absent for a formal working day :-p
It is a good topic! I am a big fan of stretching, I don't know what I always do is good or not though, I like to stretch my back, neck and hip until it crunches, I feel better after crunching, otherwise, it is always tight and I feel very tired...
I usually strech before I go to bed or during the day, my body feels very sore and tired in the early morning usually so I won't feel like streching them.
I do strech before I do exercises as well, thank you for sharing this topic with us :-)

Yes,I do stretching my arms and legs too,it can help restore our blood circulation into normal process.Because as you know when we were asleep the function of our body system rested for sometime. So that's why we need to walk or do exercise in order to stretch out the muscles.Think of this:always in the bed and not turning or moving may make your body weak and the more you become ill as well as lots of complications you get.

Stretching is so good for your body and your mentality. I stretch every day and try to do some yoga with it to make my core more solid. It helps me prepare for the day both mentally and physically. It's worth waking up and extra 20minutes early.

Oh yeah I stretch every morning. I have to because I am not flexible at all and I play a lot of sports so I'm always sore. But it is also a scientific fact that stretching everyday real good helps you loose quite a bit of weight. Also, if you add some push-ups or crunches along with that it will help out even more to stay fit. :)

I stretch before I get up in the morning and before I go to bed in the morning. I think it helps keep our muscles limber and reduces the risk of pulled muscles so yes it helps us stay in shape. am I loosing any weight by doing this, most likely no. I do like it htough, it helps me get moving in the morning and I have notcied if I skip a day I do not feel as motivated throughout the day.
