Hey guys. Im in a real crisis at the moment. Im currently in year 12 and about to finish school (Cant wait). However my problem is that i have no idea what i want to do with my life when i leave school, and i am supposed to have decided in a couple of weeks...
To fill in blanks. I go to boarding school, and am in year 12 doing Math B, Math C, English, IPT and ITS, achieving about a high average in all of them.
Thing is, i want to go to university, but i have no idea what i want to study, there are way too many options...
It seems like Im the only one in my grade who hasn't chosen what they want to do for the rest of their lives... Its crazy... Society makes it seem like were supposed to know what were going to do, but i have no idea how were supposed to know. I dont my grade knows.
Does anyone have any advice on a situation like this? like how do i decide? has it always been like this?

just go out and do your best for your yr 12 exams. there's plenty of courses you can do, weather it's at uni or tafe etc. i had always wanted to be a cop until mid way through yr 12, then it just changed. apart from the fact our career advisor wasn't any help in doing something about helping me apply for it. i thought about photography and uni for about 5mins. then found a job, just after i finished my h.s.c. it was working with horses, at top stud not far from home. so i went there and have been happy working with animals since. i also have done a few agriculture courses via tafe.
you will come up with an idea before the end of the yr, or something you come across will feel right.
my bro finished school at the end of yr 10, went and did a dairy apperantiship. then has done various things since then, in agriculture. his girl friend said to me the other day he now knows what he wants to do and that is drive trucks, and cart livestock from the sound of it. but not for the people he's currently working for.
my thing is don't put to much pressure on your self, just go out and do your best. be happy with who your are.
