If you noticed, there are a lot of e-books now. Some are free to download and some are for sale. I downloaded a lot of free and started reading it. Some are good and helpful in my internet or marketing career but others are just waste of time reading.
Do you read e-books,too? Does it help?

I downloaded a free ebook last week and started to read it. I don't normally like to read books on my computer but I didn't feel like paying for a hard copy. This is an old book so there is no copyright issues. Ebooks do help because you spend less money and you gain more knowledge.

Yes, I do and I love reading it. I have E-Books on my cellphone too. I have wattpad on my phone. I lovel novels and stories. So, whenever I travel I always have it with me and I could simply browse the e-books I saved on my phone. My favorites are The purpose driven life, confessions of a shopaholic and twilight saga. Happy myLotting. :)

Exactly. :) You get a lot of inspiration from it. You can also relate to stories and it may also guide you in your daily life. Some consider it as a friend. Good thing we can read one even without carrying a hardbound book. :) nice post! Happy myLotting!

I think e-book is a good thing. It gives us another way to get knowledge or entertainment. And it's really convenient if you want to search or copy. You just need to press "Ctrl F" or "Ctrl C". But to me, it's not a very comfortable way to read. Reading e-books for a long time will let me feel a little bit dizzy. So I'd rather read the paper books if I just want to enjoy something.

i too definitely read ebooks...
You can download the book for free and so it is a better way of saving money. So if you want to read say novels then u can simply dawmload its ebook.
The acedamic ebooks are also quite useful but many of them are .pdf readonly versions and so like actual books u cannot mark a page or hightlight a line.So it becomes difficult to make notes.

I read a lot of ebooks for business, to learn about internet marketing and online business essentials. Even though they are digital, they tend to cost more than a printed book would cost. Some are worth it, you just have to be a discerning shopper.
I love to read regular books too but they take up a lot of the space in my home. Maybe Apple will come out with an ebook reader like Amazon and Sony. I might look at that as a possibility for fiction books. Until then, I'll just keep buying my fiction in the old fashioned format.

Hi, izathewzia
I have only tried it once. I was so excited to read Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer but it was not available in the bookstores here in our place. I tried downloading it and I got a copy. I think hard copies are still the best since my eyes hurt from staring at my laptop but it still served its purpose
Have a nice day!

I only read free ebooks from Project Gutenberg.
However, I read articles online. There are a lot of very good articles in Helium, Hubpages, Associated Content and other writing sites.
Most are very high-quality articles, since the writing sites are paying them to submit articles, and there are good quality control.

i read ebooks because books are expensive. in terms of convenience, books are easier to read because i can hold them with my hands and read while lying on the bed. when i read an ebook, i sit. i like reading while lying down.

I still prefer a hard copy book over reading something in my computer or a reading device. This is what reading books means to me, having a real book which I can turn upside down, put dog ear marks and flip the pages to find something interesting or memorable not a machine.
