I could sing, I took up voice lessons before, I could draw too! took up lessons :) And yes, I could dance, usually perform in presentations before. II play volleyball(varsity) and I play the piano :)
Don't be sad. :) Everyone has a talent somehow. You just haven't discovered it yet. I bet that talent is one unique one. :)

Hi janebeth. I can draw and paint. I think I inherited my talent from my grandmother who painted quite a lot. I can also write and have written many short stories and am working on one novel. I majored in Art and English in high school and college and loved it. I decided not to use my artistic talent in my work because I don't like to be pressured when I draw or paint and, if I had to do it for my work, it would cause pressure. I just draw or paint for myself now, although I do have some paintings spread out around the world which is kind of nice.
I can sing, as long as I'm alone and nobody is watching or listening. That really means that I can't sing at all.
Some people have a talent that you can't see, like making people smile or caring for other people or animals, things like that. I consider those things to be a talent, too. You definitely have a talent for being nice and making people smile. I can see that very well.

I told Neil that one day I would love to visit him and his family. I fell in love with that adorable little boy of his, Zyruz. I'm his "Auntie".
If I ever do manage to get over to that side of the world, I would love to visit you as well. It would be such fun! I've never been farther away from my home than the British Virgin Islands, so a trip like that would certainly be an adventure for me!

hi jane.
you know me. i can sing, i can dance. that's specially when we have occasions in the office, and i am kinda drunk some.
but kidding aside, i try to sing well and i want to practice more. and i guess that's all you have to do, practice. that will bring out what's within you.
but if nothing really happens, then just hide it.

if it is true that you have no talent, then perhaps it is talent enough to know and accept that you have no talent...
Though if we compare our selves with other people, we seem to look in a narrow direction
If our talent is not so common then it is probably left unnoticed ... Should we strive to develop it?
Perhaps the future is so full of new challenges the whatever "seed of talent" there n s has to be developed...
In my opinion, a person may not have any popular talents.
But if one seeks to do good with all of one's heart, talents seem to blossom naturally :)
There's a saying
"The habit of doing good has its direct rewards (science proves it).
The consequent rewards are empowerment and the capacity to do even more and more"
Cheers

I believe so.
We all seem to have talents that are left untapped simply because we are where we are given our circumstances.
There is a saying: "If you are too fortunate, you will not know your self..."
Perhaps that is why God allows us to fail once in a while. What do you think?

All of us have a talents I think you didn't discovered yet what your talent is. I can draw, I can sing but I can't dance. I never pursued my drawing skills because of my poor eyesight and I'm not a professional singer also. Don't be disappointed about yourself I think you have a talent too. You can be good in academic, music, or in other fields.

Hi!
I think one has different talents in oneself. It is not necessary that if you cannot draw, dance or sing you do not have any talent. You may be good in other things, you may be a nice friend, you may know how to interact with other effectively, and I mean you may be very good in ‘inter-personal’ communication/relations. I can tell you something about you, I’ve found you that you are very friendly and you know the ‘art’ to impress and charm others. You are humble and polite. As far as I am concerned, I feel that I’ve developed a knack for ‘writing’ poems and articles and I sometimes write on Associated Contents. I am poor in drawing. I believe that I am good at singing and if you hand over a good camera to me, I could be a good photographer. (I think, list could go on, but I would stop here, else you will say, I am blowing my own trumphet………LOL!)

I believe all of us have talent. It is just that some are still unable to discover or explore what talent was given to them by God. So my friend, don't be sad sooner or later you will know that you also have a talent. It may not be in the line of singing or dancing or drawing or any form of art but it could be in some areas like the talent to convince people, the talent to teach people and many more which you have yet to discover.
Well as you were asking I want to share that God has given me some talents. I have the talent to sing, to draw, to sew, to cook, to teach and a lot more. I thank God for it and I am using them all for His glory.

@harpeet; i know i also have a talent like yours.
i can make a girl pregnant (actually i made at least 3 girls pregnant. i made one daughter for one girl, one son to the other girl, and 2 boys and 1 girl to the last girl in my life.)
some say i am an expert in computers, too. but i never went to a computer school to learn that expertise. maybe someday, i will get to enroll so i can extend my computer expertise.
and don't say you are short in space here, you can always say anything you want. it's all free, you can always tell you stories here. and mylot will always pay you.

well, i used to draw a lot when i was a kid. then i try to draw again when i was in elementary and college but it wasn't that good anymore but sometimes my mom would asked me to draw things for her in the illustration board or bond paper. but recently i discovered new ways to expand my imagination and that is through making videos.

HI Janebeth,
I would probably consider my main talent writing, though I can draw as well because I had a made drawing phase a few years ago which taught me how to actually do it lol! Writing has always been the passion though since it allows me to use my imagination to put something on the page, when I can get round to it lol!
I don't know if it counts but I am a good thinker as well. I spend most of my time trying to work out how and why things work so I have become pretty decent at it now.
All the best and I am sure you have a talent somewhere

Not everyone can be talented and much less at everything.
I suppose that I'm one of those.
I don't really have an... outstanding talent at anything, although I did had ability and inclination towards several things, but as of the most recent years I became almost unable to actually evolve and improve in any of those things.
Now, I surely don't sing, much less dance...
But I do, or did, write. Decently well, I guess... I got a few praises even from a book editor, although there's surely some work to be had on my working style (And above all, English proficiency. It's not my mother language but it's the one that I see myself more inclined to write in).
I also did a few scribbles, but, since I didn't practice much they become nothing in particular... although I have to say that about drawing, while a natural inclination goes a decent way, it's the -practice- that makes some artists be what they are today. I saw my girlfriend improve her friend in drawing over the years and I can guarantee that she didn't started out making Mona Lisa... so, that's also to be considered.
So, talents at times aren't really talent... it's just a deep love for something that your will to attain ability in allows you to practice and learn a given skill much more quickly. (XD However, when it comes to singing, if you sound like a cat being skinned then no one can save you)

if we can call it talent, i can sew!
well, without any training at all, i sew curtains and some clothes for the children. i do it as a hobby. one other talent i have is to do some crafts. i make necklaces, bracelets, earrings out of beautiful shells, stones, wood cut for the purpose.
those hobbies and talents surely occupy my time and earn money, too (i sold my fashion necklaces and bracelets).

Hi jane,
My talent/s were singing and dancing, using the past tense mainly as am not young enough to continue with it. I used to sing in a choir doing solo's duets also in a rock musical, and dancing was another rather unused talent, at one time when at school I was even asked to go to The London Scool of Dramatic Arts but being naive and my mum nor dad being there said no to the offer.
Don't be sad cos you think you don't have any talents as I am sure you have, if you have children you are talented as a mother being a teacher, nurturer, nurse, cook amongst a whole lot of other things so you are talented..everyone in their own way has a talent-some like yourself don't realize it...hugs LoLo

I like to think that I'm reasonably good when it comes to working with computers! I did study hard for this though and continue to study hard but I still class this as a talent that I have. You say that you don't have a talent but I'm pretty sure that you do! Well, you have to be good at something, there must be something that you enjoy doing. I definitely cannot sing, dance or draw! I did attempt to draw quite a few years back but I gave up on that idea, I didn't have a real interest in it. In order for you to be talented in one particular area you have to show a real interest. The more that you do something the better you will become and this is how it is with me in relation to computers. I constantly mess around with my own pc and I like finding out new things and learning all things computer. Anyway, have a little search yourself and ask yourself what you enjoy doing as I'm pretty sure that everyone has talent in one particular area or another. Andrew
