why they are called Linkin Park?

Yup there were some reasons which forces them to change the name of the band. Earlier during the time of formation, the band was named as XERO. Then when they officially decided to unite, had included Chester in their band, then the band name was christened as Hybrid Theory. Till the completion of their recording of their first official album , the band was knowan as Hybrid Theory. Then Mike and Chester decided to change the band's name. They were sitting in a park which was Lincoln Park. So they decided to go with that name. But when they find that a website with name was not available and would cost a lot of money to buy that domain. So they decided to modify Lincoln Park to some another name and find LINKIN PARK the best name and domain with that name was available too. So all these things force them to name their group LINKIN PARK. (All the content written by me is short interpretation of complete story of Linkin Park). i think the band got that from Lincoln Park. they just changed the spelling.
