Yes I do. I believe that everything that happens in this world of us has a meaning or purpose. Our very own existence has a purpose, the world itself was created for a cause. So as with the situations or events that comes in our way, everything about it has vital reason. I experienced having a really big problem that I thought I cannot resolve, I kept on asking God why it did happen. I thought I will never get the answer but after battling about the situation and keeping myself positive that I can still resolve it, I was able to clean myself up and get out in that kind of situation. It made me strong as a person and I was able to be more tough with any hardships that may come my way. It has given me more faith with life. :)

Hey,
Yes I really do think that everything happens for a reason, most things don't happen just because they happen. But so far, I am really happy that not many bad things have happened to me, my life has been treating me well. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Having read the responses to your post, I feel there is some confusion. We need to be clear about what exactly we mean by 'cause.'
People use cause to mean at least 3 different things.
1. Cause proper, the rise in temperature caused the snow to melt
2. Teleological cause or purpose, this is the idea that things in the present happen to bring about some (usually beneficial) event in the future, The future drags the present along.
3. Reason, the reason why I went to the shops was because I wanted to buy some tea.
Everything that happens in the physical world appears to have a cause (1) but some things that people do have no cause but they have a reason (2) to do them.
There is no evidence to support any kind of teleological cause (3)
