Choosing the right backpack

What d'you guys think would be the criteria I should have for choosing a right backpack? (: I'm not really concerned about appearance, more about how spine-friendly they are (: Perhaps, I shall even get one of those 'trolley bags'... Y'know (: With the wheels and the extendable handles. -shrugs- Hmmmm...

Well, it really depends on what student and how many books are to be carried. If they have more than 3 textbooks and 5 binders, I suggest a trolley bag, but if it's only a few, a regular backpack with front pocket and and handle would be fine. The material it's created will affect how long it lasts. I suggest using hard cloth instead of plastic. Although plastic is water-proof , the soft surface of the plastic will be wrecked by sharp corners of binders and textbooks.
