How do you protect yourself from evil?

I've just read a very interesting blog about demons in our daily life. The most interesting line was that "demons have different levels" and the more powerful demon we have, the stronger protection we need.OK, this might sound like fairy tales, but the truth is that our mind isn't always under control of good powers.Where do these negative things come from?"I'm going to die.""I'll never get this job"."She/he doesn't love me!"."People are cruel"."This world if unfair"."I'm so unhappy"."I'm cursed". People, these thoughts belong to the dark world. Maybe some of you remember my discussion about my lost friend who went to NY?Yesterday he called me.And he explained that his sister is now in a good hands and he's going back to work, and he has a lot of things to do.He apologized me he had no time to communicate with me.But what thoughts went through my mind? That he's completely cruel and selfish, that he ignores me,I started demonize him.People who were unhappy when they were alive, people who hated - don't you think that their souls want others to be unhappy and hate like they did? This could be the key to our bad luck and problems. The only thing I want to know - how can we protect ourselves from them? Thanks for reading this long post.

I find keeping mydself busy a good distraction from such thoughts, and if you're religious, then strengthening your relationship with God will most likely help as well (: Keep yourself busy! Invite some friends around, learn to play mahjong or speak a new language, go and break your keyboard on mylot! (: Oh, and don't forget to excercise - endorphins are good for warding away evil thoughts.

I agree, do yourself a favor, make sure you do something worthwhile like reading, baking and all that stuff that will make your time productive. And if your religious, praying can help a lot to eliminate or lessen your evil thoughts and it's proven effective if you regularly do it.

You COULD try slicethepie (: (Don't worry, this isn't me trying to get referrals - there isn't such a system there.) In essence, it's a site which pays you to review music :3

A large part of our mind hates change and will create almost any thought to keep us where we are, no matter how unhappy, sick or in pain. As with all things we each attract energy toward ourselves and there is plenty of negative to go around. I know that there are physical places that are full of negative energy and that many people are dominated by that energy. For me this is one of the most compelling evidences of Karma and multiple lives. I do protect myself by paying attention to any hint of this energy and by avoiding it. I don't feel it within my power to do anything except not to add power to it by focus of my attention. I avoid it as I would the plague.

There are many ways to clear yourself. If you are a church goer ask for help there, if not look on the internet, there are some good sites there, but watch out there are also a lot of weird ones. I don't know which religion you follow but there are symbols you can wear, a cross, an Om, etc.

Maybe I visited one of these places and was mentally poisoned there. Then I brought that negative energy home with me.One of my friends takes a bath, changes his clothes and lights a candle after being to "bad places".
